That sounds a little drastic. If Brown is shipped out it won't be because the C's don't win this series. It'll be because the owners won't want to pay championship money for a roster that won't win it all without Tatum. And because his contract is a bad value in this age of bloody aprons.

Probably goes with Pritchard and a smaller lineup or goes double big with Al and KP. I wanted KP to get 0 minutes, but Joe loves KP even when KP is hurting the team on the floor due to illness.

Have you ever been athletic like Brown? Have you ever had to play on a bad knee?

I would agree with your statement, but the reason we are even down in the series besides bad coaching is the knee injury to Brown. He has been dealing with it for over a month now. He is about 60% of the player we was before hurting his knee.

KP is battling a weird illness, so they say. Either way KP is have a disaster in the playoffs. Jrue has been terrible too in this series (hamstring and his body has been failing him all season).

It's got to be a team effort. White, Pritchard, Brown and Al have to have good games. Jrue aslo. If KP gives us anything positive, it will be a welcome surprise.

Man, if I was the Celtics, being down 3-1 and with JT out for the playoffs and next season. I would throw every curveball for this game tonight at home. I'd put in Walsh and have him run around like a screaming banjee. I'd throw out every junk defense. I'd put in Scheierman, I'd put in Queta. I'd do everything Thibs hadn't seen yet because you're in a can't lose type of situation. We are down 1-3 without Tatum. Give the fans an awesome show of energy, effort and heart.

The way the current Celtics operate, I'd expect they will do the exact opposite. Run their main guys 40 mins each and try to get up >50 3PTA and hope they the 3's go in.

Am I th eonly one that firmly believes that Brown holds tatum back?

Like in last season's playoffs?

I wouldn't go as far as holding him back but I would like to see a world where he's playing with a different star that plays a different way. I feel like our offense is somewhat limited by what our stars can and are willing to do. I don't think JB would thrive in a Pacers-type offense for example where players have to read and react on the fly at a fast pace. Guys like White, Horford, and Holiday could. It's been eight years and we got a chip out of it. I'd love to see something different. We still revert back to your-turn-my-turn basketball esp in the clutch. Could easily say it's the coach, but it's been 3 coaches already.
