I think Tatum put a halt to any more trades worth anything anyway because he seemed upset by losing Stevens and basically said “we’re good here, leave us alone!” He’s the superstar, gotta keep him happy.

Banton struggles to make two layups in a row let alone at three point shot.. It's like he had pretty moves with zero ability to finish. I'll stick with my fake analogy that springer could be alex carrusso light. At minimum he's like brii3et at the guard position.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

It didn’t stop them from dumping Banton for nothing.

We’re most likely bringing in a buyout as well it would seem

I'm not sure about the chemistry here. Lamar seemed beloved by all.

Banton? He looked disinterested to me at times. We needed more fire, and more firepower from him. If Springer gets a few floor burns he'll show more value than Banton did all year. Dalano is kind of a puppy dog. Nice guy, may he blossom in Portland.

Like I said earlier I like Springer. Springer and Queta make the all-star team next year

A little too much?

Final tally: The Celtics added two very capable defensive players who are, reportedly, very incapable on offense.

They also traded away a guy who is tall and thin.

Second round picks moved around as well. An open roster spot thing of some sort could still happen.

LOL Bulls asking price for Caruso was Jonathan Kuminga. How do we even match that? CHI, remain in purgatory forever.

Dunno much about Springer, but Tillman helps us on offense assuming he's a quick learner.

Got our front court big, got our wing defender.

Now Brad, let's get Joe Harris on the buyout for bench shooting!

Good summary. And my thought is below average overall scoring skills on offense, more than very incapable. Both guys have slightly below average scoring volume, bellow average scoring efficiency, average and maybe even above ast rates/ball handling spending on the guy.

When you consider Brad's Belichick-ian trading back in the last draft accumulating 5 second round picks as well as a still promising player at #38, he deserves the scope to swap a few of those 2nds for some lottery tickets.

I'm a much larger fan of Tillman than Springer, but both have some level of potential. Solid deadline in the context of everything.

Do people not read replies? lol. Been stated multiple times C's can't sign anyone who makes over 12.4 million this year, which includes Joe Harris.

I mean, Banton wasn't all that. But, this Kid is not too good offensively, either.
He's signed for next Season, too. So, let's see what he's got.
