I don't why, but I'm envisioning the Heat or even NJ targeting Rudy Gay...I don't see us getting involved.

I basically don't want anyone from that Sacramento team except the center that I will not name for the 1000x time on this board.

No chance at trading for Harden now, I'd say that's relatively good for us. If Harden keeps up until 2020, his next contract will be albatross.

I understand why Rockets did it, but Woj's report is misleading. Four year extension sounds great, but he already had two years left on his deal.

Assuming he opts out, he basically signed one year $50m extension. They added $20m on his original contract (two years), and added two more years for the full max, with player option in year 4. That's a lot of money to get one more year of Harden. This also allows him to get max for a player with 10 years of experience when he opts out.

Bender and Chriss have not shot well so far. Seem both to be rebounding ok though. Anyone watching that game?

Bender looks terrific, his shot hasn't fallen, but he's otherwise been really good. Grabbing rebounds and leading the break, great passing, beat his man on a nice dribble hesitation from the 3pt line.

Bender was my guy in a scenario where we signed Horford...oh well

Bender looks pretty average imo. Got a tech and an offensive foul in about 30 seconds

The extension was a smart move for a bunch of teams.

Realistically though this is a little overblown, it only adds one guaranteed year to his deal.

Rumor is that Larry Sanders will sign with the Warriors. I guess he found 'love for the game' once he saw the figures guys were getting in free agency. That could be a killer signing for them.

It was a joke post by Larry. He followed it up with a Cavs related post. He is just having some fun.

Has anybody heard about the Celtics offering us Marcus Smart and Rozier for Nikola Vucevic? I would think if that went down, Marcus Smart would be our starting pg over elfrid payton.

Would say so.

In no particular order:
Lakers
Bulls
Celtics
Knicks
Whatever the hot bandwagon is at the moment(Warriors for now) and Lebron's team if it isn't the same.

Those are mostly considered the most famous basketball teams around Europe at least.

I think it's almost undebatable that Bulls are #1. After that, it would probably be the Lakers and James' team in a tie. Then probably the Knicks and Celtics. I've never met anybody overseas who is not an avid basketball fan and knows who the Celtics are. I've seen tons of people who have no idea what the NBA is wearing Bulls gear. It all comes down to Jordan and to a lesser extent now James.

Is it possible for the Celtics to offer extentions to Bradley/Thomas to pay them more this year, but lock them into the future? Ideally, do the anti-Wade and pay them more now as opposed to later when we need the cap room more.
