Kings pick in 2019 becomes Sixers 2019 and 2021 if top 3.

How does that even work man.

Id rather have Sixers pick in 19 and 21 than a non top 3 sac pick in 18

He's now trying to bring in every freaking prospect. That's even more worrisome. It makes it seem like he has absolutely no plan whatsoever. I mean, Ball? Really? He won't work out for you at #1 but now is gonna work out at #3?

He got greedy. Only way to explain this. Bringing in DSJ is grasping at straws....

Butlers knee is toast and George is gone in a year. There isn't even one other possible trade target.

This absolutely blows

Welp at least Philly got a helluva lot better. Can't wait to see their dynasty dethrone the Warriors when Embiid, Simmons, Saric and Fultz are in their primes. Good times.

Step 1: acquire picks.
Step 2: trade picks for shumpert
Step 3: titles

Not only he gave them Fultz, but with that protection on the SAC pick, Philly can draft the BPA at the 2 spot in 2019 and they have a starting lineup that could be better than current Warriors in 6-7 years...

And this has nothing to do with what we do with the picks. IT'S A FACT, we just ruined our own dynasty and helped complete Sixers' own one.

Exactly. That's the thing no one sees. Philly just fleeced Danny. Those protections are the kicker. Danny got owned.

Now be gets to take more flawed Marcus Smart types while we can't even blame the lottery.

People comparing Fultz to Duncan and Lebron can't be serious

Then who should we compare him to? Fab melo? Number 1 picks are expected to be a franchise player and that's exactly who they have been in recent history.

Lebron and Duncan prospects are transcendent, Fultz is not

Fultz is a great talent that I see as a bridge between being competitive now while simultaneously preparing for a post Golden State world. I hope I'm wrong but I just don't see how this gets us close to competing with GS now (even with more moves) and doesn't hurt our future.

Yeah, if Fultz is a foundational player, Ainge will look pretty bad for this trade.

I just want to see some commitment to the long game here. I'll be very disappointed if the objective of hoarding picks of this ilk is to trade them for a player who is around the same age as James and the GSW group. Move Bradley or Crowder.

Why not? Every year we hope Aing is going to make a trade an h just continues to draft guys and send them all over the Free World

Remember when everyone thought that we would take Dunn then trade him to Chi?

Now most thought we would just pick Fultz, and Danny just traded the pick.

Literally cannot predict what Danny would do

This thinking doesn't make sense. Each guys contract would be staggered, on top of that, how can you be sure you're gonna resign some of these core guys given their injury concerns. The Sixers are just betting the house that this core is it for them and considering how little they've shown and how many red flags they have...... yeesssssh.

Colangelo is the king of the treadmill

If their core fails and the Celtics win this trade in the future, BC is Billy King 2.0

I wouldn't go that far. BC also crippled his team for decades on a team that had the narrowest of windows. This wasn't a franchise crippling move by the Sixers. They'll have a couple years to see if things work out with the core here and by the time they know if it will or not, those picks will have been used already, so it's not a Nets bad situation.

Oh please. The chances are much greater that Fultz will be the next Ben McLemore than the chances that he will become a superstar. I've watched a chunk of the publicly available film, and Fultz is not only a mediocre defender, he's an unwilling defender. Jalylen Brown put his finger on this a few weeks ago.

This trade also tells me that Ainge and Stevens really like Isaiah Thomas long term. If the had drafted Fultz, IT was a goner because there is no way that the two of them could be on the floor together.

I'm still hoping that the Celtics get a player out of the deal. Saric is too much to ask, but I'll take Richaun Holmes.

I'm assuming Smitty's source has got it twisted. Because if that's their logic... yikes. Might as well pick a new team now.
