Just to put a cherry on top of all this; Thomas Bryant to eat some center minutes, and... Luke Kennard with the TPE to get the best sharp shooter out there. Oh my gawd, what a team that'd be. Good luck, everybody else.

Doesn't work in the trade machine. Theis + Nesmith + Morgan + Fitts + Stauskas only adds up to 16 million, 6 million short of Brogdon's salary. Enlighten me?

Brad’s going to go his whole gm career without making a first round pick…

I just punched it into the RGM trade machine and got this..

Congratulations on a successful trade!

Due to Indiana being under the cap and choosing to invoke the Cap Room rule, Indiana could not go over the cap by more than $100,000 of post-trade Team Salary, which did happen here.
Due to Boston being under the cap and choosing to invoke the Cap Room rule, Boston could not go over the cap by more than $100,000 of post-trade Team Salary, which did happen here.
This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

They could go hard for Marcus Morris.. otherwise Favors, Jamychal Green, Noel, Olynyk, Dwight Powell, Plumlee.. or there’s Josh Richardson

Incoming salary should be within 125% of outgoing salary + 100K.

I mean this in the most sincere way, who in their right mind could hate this trade?

Celtics literally gave away practically nothing.

All trades are now judged by the team trading away Josh "Michael Jordan" Richardson

Can't mess up the draft if you don't make a pick.

In a roundabout way, this does offer some insurance for Rob Williams going down. Another viable perimeter guys lets you play smaller:

Smart / White
Brogdon
Brown
Tatum / G Williams / Gallo
Horford / ???

Still need a backup center who could step up in this scenario because you will need minutes if Rob is out. But this offers more lineup possibilities to play smaller if we need to.

If everyone stays healthy the Celtics could win 60+ games next season but that’s a big if.
