Smart is like Rozier, very good in the last 5 seconds of a quarter with the shot.

Lots of chinese fans with C's jerseys.
Good assessment:

WINNING (BUZZER-BEATING) PLAY by Smart to end the 3rd. Who needs Rozier, really?*

Spoiler:
*The correct answer is Michael Jordan and the Hornets, apparently.

I thought that Brasil was in the Quarter Finals.
Instead, this is a make it or break it game for them.

If Brasil loses, then the Czech Republic are in.

Pop trotting out a trio of Celtics in his small-ball lineups cannot hurt in developing chemistry between these guys. And giving Stevens ideas for his own preseason prep and in-season experimentation.

Great play right there by Brown in transition.

They need 15 players on these teams.
Need some injury redundancy.

Possible I'm imagining things, but Middleton freezes Brown out whenever they share the floor. Never passes him the ball even if he's open or the next logical man to pass to.

True, and if it's again hamstring or whatever, Smart better not play, again, even if they need him which they do.

MIddleton hasn't looked impressive, either. He makes way over 30 mils a year in the NBA. Hasn't stepped up for USA all that much...

Yeah. It'll be nice to see Poirier in a whole game. He's been looking good in highlights.
Poirier definitely is above R. Williams on the Celtics Depth Chart.

Good game from Brown, 11 points (3rd on team), 4 assists, 4 rebounds, 3 steals, 2nd most minutes played. Really got after it o defense.

So now its France Wednesday and winner of Argentina/Serbia Friday (assuming we advance). Serbia is thought by some to be the favorite to win the whole thing.

I have enjoyed the World cup, but Smart can't risk a big time injury. Same for Tatum. Would be nice for us to go into a season healthy.

It's risky, but it's 2 weeks between the end of the World Cup, and the start of NBA Training Camp.
It's minimal risk. I think it's worth it, for the Experience, Camaraderie and Cohesiveness of:

Team Shamrock.

Either way you look at it, we only have 3 opponents left. All the others will eliminate each other.
We have 3 Games, in which to Win it.

Brown looked like the veteran leader out there today. Whenever Brown was on the court, things just flowed better. I am really like what I'm seeing in JB right now. I think he is going to be one of our best players this year.
On the other hand, White needs to be sent home. That guy is absolute trash. Brook Lopez also should not be on this team. I know we need big bodies out there, but man is he bad.
One of my favorite plays today was watching Vaieo (however you spell his name), trying to set a moving screen on Smart, and seeing Smart knock him on his butt. I really hope SMart is OK, this team needs his tenacity out there.
I think the award for "oh yeah, he's on the team too, goes to Harrison Barnes. This guy is supposed to be an All-Star? I mean he's not bad, but what does he really do? In second place for that reward would be Middleton. A few good plays surrounded by pure mediocrity.
Great defensive game today. If our team could just hit even an average number of threes this game would have been a blow out.
