Cave is right, dumping Kemba next offseason is this teams best chance. You need a better second fiddle to Tatum than Jaylen, and that’s the path.

People will want to play with JT. Like embiid.

Right but again I mean I understand that’s the correct thinking. But here we are again, taking a step back to make a move forward that’s contingent on free agency.....never a sure bet.

Whose even a realistic target next season? Because we are gonna be up against Miami, Dallas, who else- that we can legitimately scoop up and who else is gonna be close to or around the same timeline as Tatum (what we always talk about). A descending Paul George Isn’t the answer

it's hilarious anyone painting the Pacers or Hornets as losers here. Pacers have a better starting five than us. Period. The Hornets have a comparable starting five with equal depth. We got worse. Period. The pervasive Danny worship in here is kinda sad.

Gordon did well in taking the money. Anybody -particularly in his physical situation- would have taken a 4 year deal at 30 million dollars, it´s a no brainer. It is obvious that Danny could do nothing there...BUT...

It has happened already 3 times to Ainge (Irving, Horford, Hayward). You should have had a plan B and C. He should admit he has failed to prepare the team for this.

The hit is massive.

I don´t know how we can improve this team. Whatever we do, it can´t be better than last year´s. And last year´s was worse than the previous one in terms of talent.

Plan B is pretty much what's happening now. He drafted a replacement (Nesmith), made space by trading Kanter and is now gonna plug the other holes as good as possible without mortgaging our future. I'm saying this from a neutral observer standpoint btw ;-)

AND EVERYONE IS PANICKING LIKE CRAZY HERE AND SAYING THAT DANNY NEEDS TO GO.

Of course he lost some players and assets for nothing. Not good at all.

But just look at this tweet to see what "others" have on their plates...

Nothing to panic about - Celts had really good results for the last few seasons.
Need a couple of smart decisions and a bit of luck to be even better.

Now, who´s out there? Who can we target?

We need to look ahead. Millsap is good for the bench, but not for the full MLE.

After 2 margaritas I’m ok with Hayward leaving.
Let’s fill out the bench, give Langford and Arron time and try to improve.
Also upgrade the 5.

If the deal was on the table Hayward for Turner and McDermott and they exhausted all options it Danny's job to know where to draw the line. He didn't. It's a fail.

It's not that simple. Horford pulled this blind over danny's eyes last year and the fact that he allowed it to get to this point again is on him.

Arguing over wether hayward deserves the extra 20 mil or not isn't really a thing. Wyc is cheap as **** is what we're learning.

I was with you on the first part. :banghead:

Check the nba and the salaries.

They're only going up. Get used to it. Harden bout to get 103 mil for 2 seasons.

We are in a tough spot because we have very little room for movement and our bench is paper thin.

Ah, I had a 2005 Bordeaux recently. Excellent vintage. Should go back to it as it’ll soak up the tears nicely and surely add some body.

I'm looking for our rookies to contribute out of the box. Shooting translates to the pro game regardless. The defense might be in question, but not the shooting.

And-1 was for the tweet, not your comment. I'll take Millsap.

As long as Millsap is on a short deal, I'd be happy with it.
