Ok - you have my attention, Rob. I'm starting to get excited now.

Especially with that pick n pop 3 at the end. Obviously he took a long time to shoot it, but I'm sure he can speed that release up with more reps. And bigs have more time to get their 3's off than smaller guys. And especially a guy like Rob, who have even more time/space to get his shot off, since opposing teams will still think he can't shoot, so they will keep daring him to shoot and keep giving him tons of time/space.

And even though he was slow getting that shot up on the pick n pop, the form looked pretty smooth so definitely encouraging.

Keep working, Rob!

A bit of a slippery slope here. I will say that Rob should fire back about the number of times they refuse to throw the ball to him when he's beaten his guy down-court and posting a guard at the basket. I don't mind Timelord's Rondo tendencies,, and hope he doesn't tilt too far the other way. Being a threat is the goal, though, I agree.

Oh man, this interview is awesome. I love everything this trainer is saying.

Not even lying, if Rob can make this leap as an offensive threat (like the trainer talks about him doing) and if he stays healthy, we legit could have 5 all-star caliber players in our starting lineup.

Plus the reigning 6MOY and a good 3&D big off the bench.

First summer away from the Celtics' offseason program, actually, it seems.

Finally doing something to expand his game. Excited to see the results. That rob/zinger combo could be dynamic on both ends. This team should be better next year. All starters can score and defend.

It's nice to see Rob working on his game, but Ill always keep my expectations tempered with such an injury prone guy like him. As long as he actually plays meaningful minutes I'll be happy! :P

We should definitely be realistic but when you listen to the full interview Forsberg had with his trainer; it’s pretty good to hear all the work he’s doing with regards to his body and conditioning. The Celtics’ trainer in charge on of rob’s rehab is also there and making sure they focus on his ability to stay on the court. The team has made it clear that’s the nr 1 priority.

Good to see Rob putting in the lab work to try and expand his offensive game, but it's clearly still far from being a finished product that he can have the confidence to use in actual games. I'll have to actually see him do it with enough reps early in the season before I buy it.

I mean, in past offseason with Philly, Ben Simmons always used to have videos doing the rounds where he was shooting 3s non-stop... until the season finally started... then it all stopped.

I only watched the first bit of the trainer interview, but he explicitly and repeatedly emphasized he didn't want to make or even allow that kind of misleading video. I think he specifcally name-checked Simmons in that.

This is clearly why JB declined his call. Wants Rob in the gym not wasting time gabbing. That's supermax leadership.

Curious these are being released after trainer stated he was discouraging it. Obviously without full workout we're left extrapolating a bit, but, don't see him fading as he tended to do on his shots.

The little fake and one dribble pull up does it for me. Just thinking of himself as an offensive player at 15-18 feet could boost Rob and the Celtics offense to a completely different level.

Just think of the gravity Rob could have in that zone.
