Is Jae trying to become a wrestler? Is this just the photo, my imagination or did his neckmuscles become even bigger?

from RJ's I/G: "Champ told me keep grinding #saynomore"

I'm guessing this is at IT4's wedding/reception.

MVP confirmed. Not looking good for us finishing above the Raptors in that case.

Three weeks on the JMT, I figured by the time I got off, something would have happened.
Oh well.

In the time you were gone, Celtics signed Marcus Georges-Hunt to a camp contract, renounced draft rights to Colton Iverson, and waived John Holland. Not quite the something we were hoping for.
Welcome back.
EDIT: Smart also did this to his hair. Olynyk was honored with fence art. Rozier had a NSFW Snapchat snafu. And Jaylen Brown wasn't particularly keen on Jimmy Butler's country music singing.

Trust me, you're better of dealing with her instead lol. Least she's easy on the eyes. Had to hide her brother's post on Facebook because I couldn't take it anymore.

Re: The Official Off-Season Thread, part I of many
As the Celtics stroll down the last few days that lead to training camp, there is good news and bad news.
The latter should be evident to all with even a modest grasp of reality, and it is simply that, even with their improvements, the Celts are still miles from their ultimate destination. To meet the most optimistic projections and become the second-best team in the Eastern Conference would still leave them significantly in Cleveland’s wake.
The good news is that the Celtics realize this.
“Sure, it’d be great to add a knock-down shooter, but you don’t want to change the identity of your team by sticking someone out there that doesn’t have that same defensive intensity and toughness that is the foundation of us being a good team,” he said. “It’s just not as simple as finding a second baseman and putting him in there. In basketball, you have to do a lot of things -- pass, dribble, shoot, rebound, defend. That’s why we like Jaylen [Brown], as an example. He does a lot of things. It’s like Marcus isn’t your prototypical NBA point guard, but he can play 1 through 4. He’s in there playing a power forward in a playoff game and doing well. He’s a basketball player, and you can play him with a lot of different combinations of people. That’s what I like about our team.
“But, yeah, it would be nice to add a rim protector that didn’t hurt our offense. It would be nice to have a shooter that didn’t hurt our defense. But I feel like we have a lot of guys that are good shooters.

Nice distinction between a "lane protector" and a "rim protector." I think that explains what they seem to look for well.

Re: The Official Off-Season Thread, part I of many
"a rim protector that didn't hurt our offense" explains hesitation on Noel. Feel like Alex Len is probably a guy they'd want more, not sure if Phoenix would part with him. Maybe in a 3-team deal with Philly..
A rim protector that doesn't hurt your offense is tough to find. Ibaka could be a FA target if he doesn't stay in Orlando, with Horford playing the 5 for us. But there aren't many guys fitting that description at all.
If you're looking for a "lane protector", a guy like Monroe or Okafor is at least competent and moderately physical in 1-on-1 interior defense.
What about something like Bradley/Zeller/Young for Gay/Mclemore/Koufos (or WCS)?
Losing Bradley hurts, but Mclemore could be a cheaper replacement, extension-eligible. His floor is, like, Kedrick Brown- he plays good defense, actually graded out higher statistically than Bradley a couple of years back. Not Bradley level, but solid. Struggles with his shot consistency, but so does Bradley. Has never had the same usage, and has disappointed because he hasn't done anything but stand around and take shots as a 4th option. But has 'upside', and again, his floor is good defense, as good a shooter as Bradley, and more upside. Could get him on a 4-year, 32 million deal, too. Or less.
Gay, obviously, is a scorer and pending free agent. Trade chip, re-up chip. Koufos is what we'd like Zeller to be, competent finisher, good rebounder, solid but not elite defense. Or Cauley-Stein, if you could get him, is a project but has raw ability.
