Yabusele can do some things.

Yabusele more active on D tonight. Had a couple of big rebounds and an important lay up. 1 point game with 45 seconds left.

I stand by my decision to watch this instead of the Celtics.

Maine wins and advances. Yabusele 26 points on 10-14 with 9 rebs. Jones, Nader and Mickey all with big games. Jackson was so bad he was pulled.

That was really a great game to watch.

How did Yabu look? Obviously his stats are nice, did you catch how he played on D by any chance? That's my main concern with him.

Good to hear that he's bounced back these last two games. It all comes down to his defense really, I think he's gonna take another year but the talent is unquestionably there

His defense was much better tonight. It wasn't great D, but he tried and moved. He just has to work on it. He did have 2 blocks.

Offensively aside from the turnovers he was terrific. He has a wide offensive package- handle, first step, drives, putbacks, power slams, and long range. His leaping ability looks better than it did last summer. He's a bit loose with the ball though and does seem to rack up turnovers.

He hasn't fully figured how to use his strength and weight advantage on both ends and setting picks. When he does he could be very good. He doesn't have height, but he has length and abnormal strength. Hansborough who is no lightweight just bounced off him a few times.

Yabusele is a completely unique player.

Corliss Williamson, Clarence Weatherspoon come to mind as wide players with skill.

This is where Brown's game is going, great to see - if we're lucky, he comes back in the fall with a ton of moves like this. He's still training, he's got quicks, footwork and a tight handle here, but he looks a little bit like one of those characters in NBA2k who starts into a move and plays out the animation no matter what. He had his defender beat once, going to the rim, again on the crossover, and a third time on the stepback.

No, Jackson got hurt in the late 3rd or early 4th. He injured his ankle.

Brown, Yabs, Zizic was a serious infusion of size and athleticism. i think yabs plays in green next year. we need cheap labor.

But that backup guard certainly played well. Jones Nader Mickey yabusele is a pretty talented 4some to play off of.

Moves like these will make his shot un-guardable -- if he can make the shot then we're going to be happy campers :)

Yabs is looking like a player. In the summer league, there were also times that he looked the best player on the team. It looks like he belongs in the NBA..
