No on Fox.

We’re also a bad match with them in any non Jaylen deal, and not a chance in hell I trade him for Fox. Smart makes no sense for them, as they already have Davion Mitchell waiting for more minutes.

I'm not really sold on him as a player anyways especially at $30 million

I think he can play, I like him in general. But I don’t love his fit with the Jay’s, and he’s an absolutely brutal outside shooter. He makes Schroder look like Ray Allen, yuck.

depends on cost.

Right now he's a rich man's Dennis Schroder at about 6x the price.

The guy has some promise, but he can't shoot and he's not some great floor general. I don't see the fit with this team, unless its a buy low.

What does he have around him?

I wonder if there's a way to move Schroder in a 3 team deal and get Barnes back.

Buddy Held makes me nervous just because his attitude has been crap in the NBA. In college he seemed like an awesome upbeat dude but in the NBA he's been perpetually disgruntled. Complained about his minutes, coach, role. Complained about the offer the Kings gave him and said he'd never sign it. Then signed it and immediately complained about it again. Etc.

Maybe I'm making too much of an issue but I'm not sold on bringing him into our locker room.

I´d rather have Haliburton, but Fox had a great last season. His awful shooting % is just this year. He averaged 25/7 last year.

I could see Barnes going to the Raptors for Dragic and a protected first rounder.

I have actually been looking at this and think that it is absolutely the way for Boston to go if they can keep Jaylen, Tatum and Rob Will out of it. The Celtics are at their best when pushing the ball and Fox is terrific in the open floor. He has to improve as a shooter but my goodness if your trading Smart for him really? The money is always a risk, but the kid's stock is so low right now.

If you could get him for Smart and a pick or two why not?

Why would the Kings want Smart though? They have Hali, and then Davion Mitchell once Fox is gone.

Barnes actually changes our ceiling, IMO.

Smart/Jaylen/Tatum/Barnes/Rob is sexy as hell.

Would Horford/Juancho/filler for Barnes/Buddy - in theory - actually make us any better

Replacing Horfords lack of spacing in the starting lineup with Barnes is a huge win

Pairing Buddy with Richardson off the bench is a huge plus to the bench.

we are a lot better with them, imo.

Smart/Richardson
Brown/Buddy
Tatum/Hield
Barnes/Grant
Timelord/Kanter

Only weakness is backup center honestly. THat team is deeeeeeep and would be an absolute dream trade. Flip Schroder for a capable backup center.
