Looks sloppy.

The 415 returning minutes bit is an obvious but harmless typo.

The numbers on all-stars seem very implausible. Perhaps he meant >=2 rather than >2.

Similarly All-Defense, possibly.

Makes me wonder what else is wrong too.

Oh yeah -- tough to see how anything could be 81%, whether he means to count over a 23 or 24 year period.

I don't think that's accurate.

The Cs of 2007-08 got 50 wins when they only had 12 losses.

This season's Cs got 50 wins when they had 14 losses.

The Celtics currently have a Relative Offensive Rating (offensive rating relative to league average) of +7.1. Only 15 previous teams in NBA history have reached the +7.0+ mark.

That mark is second highest in franchise history and the other teams on the top are mostly Bird-era teams. Both Mazzulla teams in the top 13.

BTW, as far as the Celtics go, defensive dominance seems to be a better indicator/predictor for a title than offensive dominance.



13 of the 21 Celtics teams with a Relative Defensive Rating of -4.0 or better have won the title. Cs currently sitting at -4.3. Only 4 of the top 21 Celtics teams in Relative Offensive Rating went on to win the title. Two of them were also dominant on defense (1986, 2008).

I think it was “Grant is super annoying but we love him anyways” to just the first part once he left and they didn’t have to deal with him afterwards.

Sam Hauser could average 20 on another team! Lot of sacrifices in places I forget to look at sometimes. Maybe I’m crazy but I could see it. Pritchard could probably get 15. I’m not being generous enough to how well the bench has performed this season and yes i realize it’s only the regular season… they deserve more props! Some of you already do it but we all could be more appreciative of them.
