Probably means there are more moves coming today.

Brad hasn't met with the media since the draft.

Since that time, he's signed 2 FA (Minott, Garza) and made 2 trades (Jrue and KP out, Simons and Niang in). That's not enough moves to get a press conference?

They were **** moves he is trying to recover from.

He doesnt want to answer for it

Can we all learn how this basic fact of the NBA works once and for all? You don't do the press conference UNTIL the deals are done.
The most charitable interpretation is that it's ethnic cleansing and massive war crimes.

I think Stevens has a few tricks up his sleeve, don't think he's just going to dump Simons. It'll really get interesting if Dame actually signs here on the minimum, they dump Niang, resign Al. Just saying, they could have Dame and Al, use Simons and or Hauser along with picks to get a center, and stay under the 2nd apron. Haven't we learned to expect the unexpected?

No. Because none of those moves were official until today.

I think you may have misinterpreted what I was saying.

Celtspride was saying that since the press conference is tomorrow, that means Brad is gonna make another move later today.

I was simply saying that might not necessarily be the case. We've made plenty of moves since Brad's last presser (2 trades, 2 FA signings) so therefore it makes sense for a press conference to happen, without anymore moves needed later on today.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Also, if the Jazz are tanking Kyle Kuzma helps with that goal a lot because he is VERY bad.

Hmm, that's interesting:

Bucks get Simons
Jazz get Kuzma
Celtics get completely out of the tax.

In addition, Kuzma probably helps with the Jazz tank since he is VERY bad.

Yep. Jazz probably get a few 2nds and/or send back a cheap guy since they have too many contracts. Maybe Kevin Love.

Normally I'd say Bucks pay the 2nd(s). But, man, teams with the no-D scoring guards this summer have been the ones that have paid the picks. Would have been nice to have those 2 POR 2nds....

Please.

Please?

They are building a pathetic treadmill joke

Glad people can still still try and talk up where we are going like it isn’t just another variation of the pathetic pile of 2021 ****.

But oh no!!! Look out!! We might get a 36 year old Dame with a ruptured Achilles

This ownership group is already a joke

The one problem with Kuz in that scenario is he has 2 years, so the price to eat $44M of future money was bascially established as pick 22 for Mann (over 3 years), so not sure the Jazz do it for just a couple of 2nds.

Man what would that cost the Bucks to dump Kuzma in Utah lol

Celtics better get Juzang back or those two seconds they just lost at the very least.

I think, and I may be off by a little, that Milwaukee used their final remaining 2nd round picks (2031 & 32) to get off Pat Connaughton.

I don't think Milwaukee has any seconds to grease any trades

Yeah, Bucks are pretty asset poor. Adding Tyler Smith as a young big to UTA could be incentive worthy.

MIL: Simons & Love for Kuzma, Tyler Smith
BOS: SloMo for Simons, one of our 2026 2nds (assuming we still have multiple)
UTA: Kuz, Smith, 2026 2nd for SloMo, Love.

That gets us to within $1.9M of the lux tax. Don't bring back JD or Walsh. Or keep them and maneuver at the deadline to fully duck.

Side bonus: I finally get SloMo!

I'm not sure New Orleans has a spot for him with Zion, etc.

My apologies.

Your assessment of the next 15 years is obviously thoughtful and insightful.

2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

I'd feel bad doing it to Klay, but:

BOS: Gafford of PJ for Simons, Niang, BOS 27 1st*
DAL: Simons for Klay and Gaff or PJ
UTA: Klay, Niang, BOS 27 1st*

BOS 27 1st lotto protected, turns to multiple 2nds.

We get under the tax and add a long term frontcourt member. If it's Gafford, he's already signed. If PJ, you hope you come to a reasonable extension. Jazz can flip both Klay and Niang to contenders, most likely. Or buy them out.
