took me a while to figure out who it was, why he looked so familiar ! GT hitting tha BIGTIME 8-)

I don't know when it was filmed, but he did have cancer a while ago so it could have been during that time as he had no hair.

CRAP ! MY BAD !!
no disrespect, had no idea he had cancer ....have always liked GT and was happy to have seen him in a movie when I finally figured out who it was

Oh, I didn't think it was any disrespect at all and I could be wrong on the timing of the filming. Just a observation.

If you were a fan of Coming to America (ie seen it more than 10 times), then chances are good that you’ll enjoy Coming 2 America. Lots of call backs

I really had no expectations / was reluctant when we started it, but it was hilarious.

Also, on the complete other end of the spectrum, I finally started ZeroZeroZero (thanks to Cave). So good.

Very cool story on the writing and recording of the song chop suey by system of a down. In the words of a totally different artist

the grateful dead wrote:Once and a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look it in right

it seems that happened here. Very cool.

I love system of a down and really any music which mashes up genres and/or contrasts 1 segment of the song against the next which system does sooo soo masterfully.

The whole song if you're not familiar

A few more of the many great system songs.

Great band that actually backs up what they believe in. So cool that they sound this great after so many years.

I was terrified that Bruno Mars would stop doing R&B/soul after his last project. Glad he stuck with it and started making music with Anderson Paak.

Yup. I loved how his last album was pretty much an ode to R&B in the late 80s, early 90s, and it sounds like this project with Paak is going back even further as a tribute to 70s soul and funk. I’m looking forward to the album. I just wish this pandemic would end so these guys can go on tour. I’ve seen Bruno twice already, and his shows are worth every penny. Paak opened for him on the last tour as well, but unfortunately, he wasn’t on the bill for the show in my city.

Haven't had the chance to but I want to. My mother, who is in her 70's loves him and tells me nobody puts on a show like him.

Yup. When I went to his show, it was people of all ages, young and old. Nothing but good vibes at his show. Just a little Filipino dude and his band singing and dancing their asses off. Tickets are pricey, so start saving now. I think I paid $120 per ticket last time I went, and these were mid-tier seats. No where close to the stage. Lol
