Yeah but everyone was just telling me how useful Theis is. I knew he’d be the first one included in any trade talks.

Use the TPE on j-rich or mcdermott.

sign thomas bryant to veterans minimum as the 3rd string center.

C rob
F al
F tatum
G brown
G smart

Bench: Brogdon (6th man of the year), white, mcdermott, gallinari, grant, pritchard, bryant

championship
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Let's f*cking go!

Great trade. Brogdon of course has injury concerns, but we have the backcourt depth to manage him all the way to the playoffs. He'll miss time but as long as it's the regular season we are golden.

If they can use the TPE to grab some frontcourt C depth and/or wing depth we are truly stacked.

Gallo and Brogdon bring offensive punch and we've still got the best defensive core in the league. Love it Brad.

Awesome trade by Brad. He stole Brogdon. I've long liked Brogdon's game. He will fit in really well with this group.

Brogdon's going to hit a lot more open threes than Smart and White. He no longer has a pile of garbage surrounding him, like he did in Indy.

Of course he'd be included in trade talks, the issue was who would take him on with his bloated salary?

That's sneaky bonus value here. Not only did C's not have to use the big TPE but they also got a team to take Theis. I think that's worth at least a couple 2nds from a team that's got no use for him like IND. Which means Brogdon was had for even less than Nesmith and a first.

Great deal for Brad. Top notch stuff.

Houston pick is protected though if they get the first or second pick.

But damn, what a move by Brad!

The time to trade for a FRP is during the 2023 draft.

Or maybe if the Cs make a move at the trade deadline in 2023.

Things can change, but, I wasn't overly geeked about the late 1st rd prospects this year nor does it seem super great next. The 2021 I knew was going to really sting.

I'll say this. One team that's not tanking for the top draft pick next year is the Kings.

Adding Huerter is definitely a win now move.

Really good, under the radar move for them too.

The kings were like, ok we've got Fox (PG), Michell (PG), Murray (PF), Sabonis (C). Then you have Barnes too who can play the 3 or 4, but isn't a long term piece for them. What's missing, Huerter slides in as a SG/SF wing.

He's young (fits the fox, sabonis, mitchell, murray timeline), he's a shooter and plays the position they had the biggest need for.

Still not sure if they're a playoff team, but they'll probably at least make the play in tournament. and they should have some better coaching now too..

Celts already at a stage where they really don't need 1st round picks because of the luxury tax.

So I'm fine with the Celts having no 1st round picks for a couple of years.

Been up and down from 3 the last 3 years, hopefully an up season. Also, quite a few players had down years from 3 last year perhaps the ball change had pretty lasting effects from some throughout the season. Of course Brogdon missed so many games his adjustment timeframe was pretty short.

Brogdon’s had better years historically, though. And yeah, new basketball may have messed with everyone..

I suspect he'll get a lot more open looks in Boston than Indiana. He shot nearly 43% from 3 on the 2018-2019 Bucks team that went 60-22. Just can't see this guy bricking open 3's like Smart and White. Also, this keeps Pritchard off the floor in important games. Huge win here.

Danny's PGs: Pressey, Waters, IT (can't be above 6')
Brad's PGs: Smart, White, Brogdon (at least 6'4")

I'm only half-kidding.
