What odds do you give the Cs to win the championship this year?

Cool Stat of the Day: If this year's Celtics keep up their pace, they could end up being a top 7 regular season team in NBA history relative to league average. In the wise words of JaMarco, the Celtics ain't no joke.

Accomplishing this in an era of heightened league parity is quite something tbh.

Celtics currently at +11.4. If they don't overdo "resting guys since we've got the #1 locked up", they could move up to top 3! Top 3, Jerry! I want them to ramp up their D even more.

Better than anyone else, but well less than 50/50. The reason for better than anyone else is part due to their record and part due to being in the East where the path to the Finals is easier.

The five true contenders are Boston and Denver on top by a bit, then OKC, the Clippers and Milwaukee in some order. A different team winning a title is remotely possible but emphasis on remote. Minnesota would have joined the true contenders if not for their recent injury setback.

Congratulations to Amina. Now, bring back Kyle Draper. Giving up Dalano Banton for nothing is understandable, but they should have gotten a first rounder from the Kings for Draper.

You liked Draper? I'm usually indifferent on these media people and didn't mind Draper (except when he filled in a few games outside of the sidelines), but don't remember anyone caring for him at all on this board.

You’ll get Donny Marshall and like it.

My mistake. The Celtics traded Draper to the Kings for a player to be named later, which turned out to be Neemias Queta. So, fair deal for both sides.

Yikes! I heard Donny on a broadcast somewhere last year (can't remember if it was NCAA or Nets), but didn't see him. Knew I recognized the voice but couldn't place it like a bad ex you try to forget about. 30 seconds later the other guy mentioned his name and I turned the channel. He's not Tanguay bad, but I'd rather **** and my hands and clap than welcome back Donny Marshall. This is probably why I actually enjoy Scal too... it could always be worse.

Agree for the most part. So that leads to the cold reality that it's still more likely that we don't win it than we do

This will translate into the playoffs, as long as they don't settle.

I forgot about him. The golf metaphors and continuous discussion of mens' suits really did not help the broadcast.

Some maybe, they may call less fouls.

It all resets on April 20, but Cs have been mostly dominant throughout the regular season. With still the easiest remaining schedule. I say "mostly" 'cos the upper West teams have been quite the challenge (close losses to MIN, DEN, OKC, and blowout loss to LAC when they didn't have KP).

Celtics: win 11 straight games in mainly dominating fashion
NBA fans: DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE FLAWS. AND OMG THE PLAYOFFS
Celtics: lose two road games by a total of seven points
NBA fans: told you! Good team, but way too many glaring issues
Celtics: four-straight blowouts to follow up small losing streak
NBA fans: decent, I suppose. Still, PLAYOFFS.

Boston can't win. lmao
