Irritated because that was Philly's absolute best punch and we should have won.

LOL Joe is a disaster and twice should have drawn up a proper play.

Another benefit to calling the time out would be helped ensure that we shoot it with enough time on the clock just in case.. Not to mention you can do an offensive for defensive substitution and things in that nature.

By my account we had 4 chances to knock this ball out of the park and finish this game we went all for 4 on all of them and did not call a single time out on them
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

I dont understand our offense.

He's afraid to shoot in the clutch, its that simple

Still got a long way to go this year but really need to next year force feed Brown at end of games get him the reps. He is a killer.

This is on Joe. On the same **** game he had two plays to win the game and didn't call a TO in neither of them. Both of the plays were horrible and ended up with a rushed Smart three.

That's high school level up coaching

While it was a questionable decision, I wonder if he looked at the players on the court, rightfully considered his team to have an IQ advantage, and wanted them to have a chance to exploit it naturally without the opposing team setting up a good defense. His mistake was thinking that Doc was capable of developing a good play from a timeout

Hold all your TOS to never use them. These guys never know what to do in close games and Joe doesn’t either, that’s on him.

I yelled at my TV. Don’t DOUBLE OFF THE 3. Make them go for two. You think if Joe yelled that to Brown he would have doubled! I think the **** not! And then he lets his team run down 18 seconds DOING NOTHING.

BRAINDEAD **** **** this guy is.

Of course it does. Blame both. Jaylen dumb play #1 , Joe compounded it by not calling a time out. He could have gotten Malcom into the game and save time on the clock.
Offense one again too slow , but I'm sure like always Joe will apologize and say it's on him to get em nxt time

The defense was already set on both of those opportunities to win. We have literally zero set plays.

The team has their bbiq deficiencies but the coach is supposed to mitigate them.

Him leaving Harden probably cost us the game....

Tatum trying to play the hero by defending Embiid cost the game followed by Not Timeout Joe.

I'm not super happy about the lack of time out at the end there.. But what I'm really pissed about is leaving a guy who was 5-8 from 3 open when we had a two point lead.

The Brown double off Harden was a bad choice, but at least I get WHY it happened. You have Embiid on Tatum, that's mincemeat for Embiid.

But the last offensive possession was horrible AND made no sense. You have like 17 seocnds left. You can't dribble the ball for 11 of those waiting for a play. Just stupid coaching, stupid decision by Smart, just dumb.

Joe > Ime honestly. I think people will eventually get that. He should have called a timeout but we were down 15 in Philly and had a shot to win.

Honestly this is the best our defense has looked all year imo. I am 0% worried moving forward.

How do you not use timeouts in those situations?!? So frustrating. If Celtics lose this series, which I don't think they will, we need to look at coaching options or at least some very strong assistants at least who can draw up some plays. Can't believe we lost 2 close games to Harden buzzer beaters. I was screaming for Brown to not leave Harden, the one guy who can beat you, and of course he does just that. :banghead:

Joe should've called timeout immediately after he saw the ball was moving slowly. That was not a scenario for a last second shot down 1 unless you have Jordan or Bird on your team.
