I would be ecstatic if the Celts can get Jarrett Allen.

But according to reports, the Cavs traded for Allen because they think he's their Center of the future.

The Cavs would be dumb if they let him go.
How about christian Wood?

Ainge had half a decade to get Wood for free and chose not to.

We can hope. But what he's actually accomplished in his very short pro career to date is more reminiscent of Robinson. He's legitimately one of the more effective move/catch/score 3-pt shooters in the league, this early in rookie season.

I'm not seeing the comparison beyond the racism. Duncan Robinson is a 6'7" forward who doesn't handle the ball ever, and only takes threes. Nesmith is the Robinson comp.

I stated some of my reasons. That failed mindreading, contradicting what I wrote, is utterly uncalled for.

If this filth is allowed, I need to take some time away from the board.

You're just comparing all other white guys to all other white guys, dunno what to tell you. Luka is little like Bird. Pritchard is nothing like Robinson other than they are both white.

Only way we trade for Al is if he agrees to a buyout after the season lol

Read on Twitter

I don't even know how you can score like that efficiently when the opposing defense is solely focused on stopping you from scoring.

No, I compared a young Celtics player to a couple of touted young Heat players who were discussed a lot recently, in contexts such as hypothetical Harden trades, Ainge vs. Riley GMing, and Miami vs. Boston playoffs. For you to call me a "racist" for that, especially after I explained myself reasonably carefully, is you being a **** vile moronic piece of ****.

I don't care if I get banned for this, because if **** like yours is acceptable, I don't want to be here anyway. 18 or so years of posting here will just have to have been enough.

Rozier would look nice on the celtics instead of Walker at half the price.

Sixers and Bucks also losing to the Suns.

As inconsistent as the Celts are right now, they're still in the hunt for the #2 seed.

I can understand Ainge missing out on guys like Christian Wood.

But imagine if Ainge didn't trade the #1 pick in 2017 and picked Markelle Fultz instead.

Or if Ainge didn't pick Jaylen Brown #3 in 2016.

Acquiring star players is the hardest part of the job as GM.

So Ainge already did the hard part, now he needs to surround those 2 star players with a competent supporting cast.

That's why it's a mistake to underestimate the Jazz.

I won't be surprised if they make it to the finals this season.

Max Strus must have missed a TON of Defensive rotations when he was in Boston's camp. but it sure would be nice to have a shooter who can make 59.5 and 53% of FG +3s in his last 10 games.

Think that might help the Js a bit?? :o :( :-?

You mean a team that didn't have a top 10 pick in years, NO Max player signings outside the team, Lost a Max player for nothing (Hayward) and NO top 10 player, can make it to the finals. With a coach who isn't rated top 5?? All while playing in the mighty Western Conf.

You must jest!

The NBA game is evolving.

It has become a league of shooters.

The NBA is now like FIBA, but on steroids.

Last 10 games:
Theis - 52.7% FG%, 51.9% 3FG%
Grant - 55.3% FG% 52% 3FG%

But Celtics fans already hate these two guys. They play defense. So I bet they'll find a way to hate Strus too if he's in Boston.

One reason why I still have some hope. especially IF Boston can add another piece at the right price of course.

Tatum, Brown, Smart, RW, Theis, PP give me hope. Another good player, then why not us???
