I would be ecstatic if the Celts can get Jarrett Allen.

But according to reports, the Cavs traded for Allen because they think he's their Center of the future.

The Cavs would be dumb if they let him go.
How about christian Wood?

Payton Pritchard is more like Kyrie Irving than Duncan RObinson.

We can hope. But what he's actually accomplished in his very short pro career to date is more reminiscent of Robinson. He's legitimately one of the more effective move/catch/score 3-pt shooters in the league, this early in rookie season.

I'm not seeing the comparison beyond the racism. Duncan Robinson is a 6'7" forward who doesn't handle the ball ever, and only takes threes. Nesmith is the Robinson comp.

I stated some of my reasons. That failed mindreading, contradicting what I wrote, is utterly uncalled for.

If this filth is allowed, I need to take some time away from the board.

TT's inability to shoot from outside the paint is a liability.

No, I compared a young Celtics player to a couple of touted young Heat players who were discussed a lot recently, in contexts such as hypothetical Harden trades, Ainge vs. Riley GMing, and Miami vs. Boston playoffs. I can understand Ainge missing out on guys like Christian Wood.

But imagine if Ainge didn't trade the #1 pick in 2017 and picked Markelle Fultz instead.

Or if Ainge didn't pick Jaylen Brown #3 in 2016.

Acquiring star players is the hardest part of the job as GM.

So Ainge already did the hard part, now he needs to surround those 2 star players with a competent supporting cast.

Max Strus must have missed a TON of Defensive rotations when he was in Boston's camp. but it sure would be nice to have a shooter who can make 59.5 and 53% of FG +3s in his last 10 games.
