am bummed if he's in hot water and to be clear, not looking to defend anybody. or going to Google it
I did look into it after seeing it mentioned here, and it's really ugly. Among other things, the remaining Celtics Lab guys have said this:
Celtics Lab Podcast-At this time, we can't go into detail, but we do want to offer our deepest apologies our platform and confidence was used to harass women in our community. We're shutting the door as hard as we can on that moving forward, and most importantly, we believe you, and are acting accordingly.
I know I'm late on this in here and this might be somewhat old news by now but there was a very Larry Nassar-esque quality to this thing. More and more women kept popping up with worse and worse encounters uncovered and lines crossed. Just a bad deal all around.

Glad to see the Boston media has completely banished Cameron T.

Sucks because as someone who is also a high school history teacher, some of the revelations are absolutely unconscionable.

Since you have that background, what do you think the discussions are among the administrators of that high school about this guy? What actions can they take, can not take?

Only very casually familiar with that guy's name from following the team and didn't know any of the details.
That said if anyone is looking for a Celtics podcast, I can't recommend First to the Floor highly enough. Really enjoyed it and for a threesome of guys that aren't broadcast pros, they bring a great combo of enthusiasm for the team and real talent, check them out.

Re: Celtics 2024-25, Season Thread
Like I said, if the revenue is 450m and salaries plus taxes is 450ish million, regardless of who the owner is, this Celtic roster will undergo changes.
The question is who will be dealt?
I think Jrue is sure to go and it's either KP or JB.
Only removing Jrue does not solve the problem.
If the return is Giannis then JB and Jrue can go.
But if the Cs are not getting a star player in return, it has to be KP and Jrue going out.

Well most teachers are in a union of some kind. I could see him put on Leave with Pay while they decide if they're going to bring him back or not. Depending on whether or not he's employed by a public high school which could mean he's an employee of the county, they could fire him as a county employee. He could get a job in a different county but even with the scarcity of licensed teachers it could be tough to get back. If it's a chater pr private school, they could just remove him outright without fear of and union pushback. Who knows really? Could get real complicated. What he did is not something I'd be in a rush to put him in another classroom right away. I'll say that.

Noa Dalzell is the fastest rising Celtics Beat writer IMO. She's insightful, intelligent, always asks great questions during interviews and her show "You Got Boston" is pretty great.
Also, for those of you who love the Xs and Os and coach porn, check this kid out. He's great.

Re: Celtics 2024-25, Season Thread
It is time for a 'what if' we don't go past NY
I say we let Joe and Brad go
Let KP, Hauser and another player go
Al will return only for the minimum (it looks like age caught up with him)
It is like the end of the PP-KG era
Start over
And I want a GM and coach that actually like to play basketball, not math games (although I am grateful for the championship)
Watching other teams in this playoff I get really envy of their athleticism, pace, actual contributing bench players and real stars with real go to moves. And of course coaches that actually respond to in-game situations or game to game
Can't wait for the new ownership to take over
[first I really hope we progress to the finals and win it all again - this is a what if]

For the record, I am personally against blowing up the entire organization over a single playoff loss (if it happens that way)

Let me get this straight - you are against blowing up the team after we lose to NY in the second round and do not advance?
Changes to the roster have to be made because of the 2nd apron and repeater tax anyway. I say that if we lose to NY and do not advance it is the right time to get a real coach and maybe shake things in the head office
Ownership will do it either way in 2028, as the new owner is a fan and probably is lurking here

Whether we like it or not, Joe will not get fired whether we advance or not.
Brad will give Joe one more shot.

yeah, I'm against making stupid emotional decisions as a result of a bad playoff run. Teams fail in the playoffs all the time for any number of reasons. Doesn't mean you blow it up all.

Sure. This is what we done when we lost to GS and MIA
But we are in a different situation here. Reaper tax etc calls for a major change. Might as well replace the coach while you are at it
And maybe add some athleticism and life to this team

Then Brad should go as well.
