I like Rick and Morty but It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is still the best comedy currently running to me.

He doesn't watch much TV, but Coach Brad loves This Is Us (NBC). Somehow I'm not surprised. Catch the rest of his interview with Scal on Celtics Talk (it's on iTunes).

Those are my favorites. I have a large library of sports books. Reading and collecting them is one of my hobbies.

I read Bird's 1992 biography while at work (I'm a rebel). Same with Jordan Rules and Phil's 2004 Laker book. Found it interesting that Larry had the same pinky malady that Kobe got by catching his on Vince's jersey in Pau Gasol's 1st gm with the team. Bird got his injury in the 83 Bucks series (while he also had the flu). I collect old NBA games and I actually got a batch of master game tapes from an old guy who recorded NBA and the lot contained that Bucks gm in question. Bird's injury happened during a dive for a ball and wasn't easily visible. There was another interesting moment where Lanier put McHale in a headlock and didn't wanna let go. Kev was very popular among opponents. They really seemed to like him. ;) Them Bucks fans went "buck-wild" when they were rounding out that sweep. That was back when fans were rowdy and TRULY nasty and NBA arenas weren't kid friendly. Anyway, in both Larry and Kobe's cases, there was actual bone separation when their tendons tore off the bone, probably a common condition in that specific type of hyperextension, fragile connections in that joint. It was interesting that the surgery Bird (his ghostwriter) said was available for him in 1983 didn't progress much by 2008. They both have mangled right pinkies to this day.

Most people will probably hate this band, but I have been listening to their 2 EPs like crazy when I go running. No idea why they are playing in a rooftop garden, maybe everything was booked or something....It honestly looks like a sketch from SNL about some hipster brooklny band, but I still enjoy em

Composed well before the time of the vast majority of you guys, but ......

Hauntingly beautiful melody & lyrics reflecting conflicted religious beliefs & eroticism,
And sung by 4 Norwegians who are remarkably talented.

https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/hallelujah/id277873787?i=277873971

Well I heard there was a secret chord
That David played and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do ya?
Well it goes like this: the fourth, the fifth
The minor fall and the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah

Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya
She tied you to her kitchen chair
She broke your throne and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah

There was a time when you let me know
What's really going on below
But now you never show that to me, do ya?
But remember when I moved in you
And the holy dove was moving too
And every breath we drew was Hallelujah

Maybe there's a God above
All I've ever learned from love
Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew ya
And it's not a cry that you hear at night
It's not somebody who's seen the light
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.

Most of the kids know this song very well from Shrek! And the John Cale ( of Velvet Underground - one of my favorites btw ) version in the movie is still my favorite!

OT but this needs to be shared

A recent study conducted by Portland State University’s chemistry department — one of the first to explore the effects of “terpenoid degradation” in the context of cannabis concentrate consumption — found that dabs over 750 degrees can contribute to the formation of carcinogen-filled smoke, and that even hotter dabs present an even greater risk.

I don't dab a lot anymore I mostly smoke flour and use a pen when I want to smoke oil. No idea how hot the pen heats the oil but gonna go research that now.

Yeah, probably will get one episode in max today because of band practice. Gonna binge tomorrow.

I'm really confused about my Joyce Byers bet. Should have cleared by now either way. Just going to assume I lose.

I tried dabbing once. Did not like it at all. Way too potent for me. I felt like a zombie, just sitting there with a severe body stone. Actually, wait, a better analogy would be like someone hooked up to a life support machine - I was aware of everything going on around me, but I couldn't respond, couldn't move, couldn't laugh, etc. Never again.

Have just finished binge-watching the first 6 seasons of Shameless (U.S.). The first 3-4 seasons are top-shelf TV. The fifth season derails badly, and the sixth picks back up a bit. William H. Macy steals the show, with Emmy Rossum helping carry it. Shanola Hampton is a babe. Lots of skin everywhere. Great soundtrack, especially the first few seasons.

Can't wait until Netflix Canada get their head out of their ass and make season 7 available.
