It is only a matter of time before Peliinka and Rich Paul start blaming each other for the mess in LA. Lol

I don't have time to read everything, but It looks like the team that kept their mouth shut got the prize. I'm trying not to be too happy since it doesn't win us any championships, but it's still the best case scenario imo!

Is anyone really surprised Jerry West pulled this off?

Aside from maybe Morris and Rondo, I'm sure Danny's options are mostly focused on trades now.

Parker and Morris can both score, there are roles for them on playoff teams, not us we need to free up shots for our wings but Parker should end up on a team like houston and thrive. Morris would fit anywhere solid rotational 2 way nba player.

Yup. Winnipegger checking in. Last week, all I caught was grief from my buddies about Kyrie leaving, and then Al leaving. When I kindly pointed out that Kawhi might leave them, they all told me it was ok since he had delivered them a ring.

This morning though ...... , they are all now mad at Kawhi, and all of a sudden, they now want to join my "pity party" and talk about how both of our teams don't need Kyrie and Kawhi. Ummmmm.....ok? Lol

Raptors will still be a good team, they had a really good record without KL last season. Playoffs may be different but they could be a top team during the regular season. I don't see them being as miserable as people think and I don't think there is any way, outside of poor health, they miss the playoffs. They aren't like what LBJ did to the cavs.

Loving the schadenfreude from all the ESPN talking heads who got this wrong.

Russell Westbrook is going to be a big test for the Knicks and whether they have turned over a new leaf. The classic Knicks move would be to go all in and leverage the entire franchise to get him all to put people in seats at MSG for two or three years of first round exits and an inevitable collapse.

Smart thing to do is to keep on doing the rebuild and build up assets while keeping an eye out to see if someone like Giannis has second thoughts on their current franchise. But Dolan has historically never had the patience for that. Will he let the current management who are not doing that bad of a job have the time to build or does he go for the quick fix that the marketing department will love?

While I'm relieved we don't have to deal with another super team (at least this year), I can't help but notice that most of the big names ended up in LA (Kawhi, George, AD), NY (Durant, Irving), or Miami (Butler).

To top it all off, the Lakers gift wrapped the Clippers future starting center for NOTHING.

Westbrook and NYK is destiny. They shouldn't fight it.

Boogie to the Lakers.

Lakers better hope the season starts off strong or that locker room is going to be a powder keg.

LOL at Pelinka signing Cousins. Lebron having to guard SFs instead of PFs is going to work out great.
