Let's assume Boston offered him 3/60m, the gap of what he got from Philly isn't exactly peanuts. We'd all do the same damn thing.

Very interesting moves from Philly though, it's tough to see any growth potential now.

He was a good player and I don’t blame him for leaving. But yeah, he’s the enemy now.

They lost JJ and Butler.

Redick was a defensive liability. Replaced him with a younger Richardson who is a 36% career three point shooter. Not great, not terrible.

Butler was a weird fit with the rest of that roster.

Having seen Horford play with us the dude is a difference maker. Will be a great locker room presence for them. Defensively him and Embiid is scary together and we all know Al is a talented offensive player.

Might only be for a year or two before Horford declines significantly. Still pisses me off he goes there.

He will have a big impact mark my words.

Why not? I expect anything in this era. It’s all about the money and it’s amazing money.

Guys getting $25-$50 million a year. NBA is out of control.

BTW, nearly 7 out of 10 Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. And those people will be paying for higher tickets to go to the games.

The entire NBA is at a point where they could care less about the fans. And it’s the fans that make the game. When the fans finally get fed up, things will change. But sure when or if that will happen.

If Horford COULDN'T get a big deal, then opting out of his $30 million year would have been a mistake.

And by the way -- I was publicly doubting all along that he'd opt out just to get some of the numbers people were suggesting.
