lol the Nets catering to what KD wanted to try to make themselves look good in the eyes of players and agents around the league in hopes it’ll help their front office reputation.

Suns gave up 2 elite roleplayers on top of 4 picks. One of those players was already rated at 4 firsts. The Nets took the better offer. They weren't sacrificing themselves to make KD happy.

5 second round picks for anyone who slanders Smitty! The man is living the dream of most of us. Talked ball in here, took that passion to Summer League in Orlando and with no inside channels made his own name for himself, and earned a blue check by his name and a place in NBA media with hard work and dedication. I could care less if he occasionally sends a mean tweet for dealing with crap on the web. In fact, good for him!

I'm still banned from the trade thread because 10 years ago I told Smitty that one of the rumors he reported was baloney.

When I read that Golden State--not Toronto-- had rejected an offer for Kuminga that included O.G. Anunoby I was shocked. I guess Ujuri was also asking for 20 unprotected first round picks.

Our 2029 and the other one is the worst one of our own/Portland/other team. Aka our own 2029 and pick 58-60 of this year

He puts up with more than enough crap from toolbags who respond to his logic and reason with "You're fat". That response was tepid by comparison. That said, I suppose if everyone liked him, he's probably doing it wrong.

I hear ya. We all have our "not-so-great" moments. The only thing you can do is try to give each other grace. Which is a hard thing when you don't feel like they deserve it so I get it.
