Well, it was reported he was on crutches in the locker room last night so I think being out versus Philly is quite likely.

There are alot of home games coming for BRK:
HOU, PHI, LAC,ORL, MIA

But also teams infront of them DEN, POR, MIN have some winnable games...so as long BRK is 3 wins behind a group of 7 teams who now have 7/8/9 wins I would be more than happy. Ok NOP are on 5, but they will improve sooner than later.

Man if BRK would finish 3rd worst ;)

Nets really seem to pick up a lot of energy off of RHJ, if he is out a while that will take a toll on their results I expect.

How sweet would an 0-6 homestand be.

Houston's starting to play better with Lawson off the bench.

Philly's been playing the bad teams tough, blowing out the Lakers and taking the Nuggets to the brink. If they can get hot from 3 (Covington, Canaan, Stauskas and Thompson can all shoot) it's not impossible that they would beat BK.

Clips and Miami obviously have the goods if they don't dog it and the Magic play really hard.

If the Nets are without RHJ for an extended stretch, this could be another streak.

Slart, today I am truly ashamed to be a Celtic fan. I cannot believe that you would take pleasure in the physical suffering of another human being for your own trivial gain...I think it may be time for a long hard look in the mirror my friend.

RHJ Undergoing Ankle Surgery and will be out indefinitely.

Tim Bontemps @TimBontemps
Oh, man. Nets announce Rondae Hollis-Jefferson will undergo surgery. Brutal news. Has been the team's biggest bright spot this season.

I really hope you forgot the green font on this post. What Slart is doing with the BillyKingMaker is going to get him nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Wait until you find out that it was me who hatcheted RHJ's ankle.

Brooklyn needs help. If I'm Danny, I'm trading James Young for RHJ straight up. I'll even throw in a 2nd rounder.

Tough break for the Nets. Really liked RHJ in college.

This is terrible. There are some lines you shouldn't cross. You're a moderator for crying out loud. Making a blog on an external site is one thing, but this post? Really? :nonono:

It was only a matter of time until the injuries started rolling in. The Nets are screwed. He was one their more impactful players.

Speaking of crying out loud...

While you weep self-righteous tears for RHJ's ankle (which I thought was just a day-to-day sprain by the way) I'll continue to post about basketball where injuries are part of the game and guys sprain their ankles all the freaking time.

This thread is full of bad karma. The first and last time I made a reference of positivity around about someone (Lebron) getting hurt ... Rondo tore an ACL

Yes, I'm fully aware that injuries are part of the game. But to say that you're "loving the Nets near-perfect run of health hitting its first snag" has you coming across as a total douche.

Some of you guys need to pump the breaks and get off your high horse. Injuries happen, they're a part of the game. No ones rooting for death here, just looking how how an event that happened positively impacted this team. No need to get too sensitive and belittle others for stating this.

And not for nothing, I guarantee you RHJ could not care less if it were you who got hurt instead of him. Injuries happen to guys who put their bodies on the line-- it's why he's being compensated at his current rate. No one's rooting for torn Achilles or ACL's, just stating that his injury is of a benefit to the Celtics, which is an indisputable fact.

Nothing wrong with it, it's just bad karma if you believe in that stuff. I enjoyed seeing the Cavs hobbled in the playoffs last year. Enjoyed it thoroughly actually.

I think running an entire site dedicated to celebrating the Nets outsource tank should have already coveyed that impression for someone with your sensibilities.

You can interpret a distaste for meaningless internet decorum as douchiness, but I think it's just honesty. I'm not going to pretend to be all somber and serious-minded, while putting on my Neighborhood Watch hat to police bad-think on the forums, for an ankle sprain.

When I sprain my ankle at the park, my opponents are dropping F-bombs and begging me to get back on the court. RHJ, who is of course reading and cares, should take my celebration as a compliment.

I don't wish bad injuries on anyone, but anyone on their high horse over a ankle sprain I suggest you go check out the Colts or even to a worse extent the Sixers SB blog.
