Cap room can always be created, especially when you have assets which the Lakers do. They could easily dump Deng/Mozgov by including some of their young talent and/or picks to a rebuilding team with cap space like Brooklyn. Something you can be sure they'd do if a guy like LeBron wanted to go there.

Clarkson is on an actual good contract that can be moved too.

Smart-Hayward-Crowder-George-Horford lineup would be a nightmare on defense.

I don't think Brown is going anywhere. He's cheaper and has more potential than Crowder.

Ideally, you find a way to keep him and all the premium picks but if you're trying to win now, Crowder > Brown imo. It still leaves you with Tatum, Zizic, 2019 LAL, 2018 BKN for the future.

Anyway, that would be the max I'd offer in case there's a bidding war.

Brown will be better than Crowder by the end of the year. Win now, or win later, I am not giving up Jaylen Brown to save Crowder.

You just know they'll burn assets just to dump Moz/Deng and make room for both.

I would be very happy if we have Tatum and PG on the same team by Thursday.

They need to dump one of those three to get George. Finding other teams to gift them the room for LeBron and George isnt going to be easy.

No he said he's not coming back to indy and his current preference is the Lakers. He has been very clear his first priority is winning. He flat out said he would stay with indy if they fielded a winner

The Cavaliers are devoid of the kind of young players and future picks that Indiana might want in return for George, and George has never mentioned the Cavaliers as an intriguing destination.

Do people realize that if Paul George goes to the Cavaliers, it is game over for the Boston Celtics. Celtics would have no chance of competing with Cavaliers for a very long timez I don't know why fans would want Paul George on the Cavaliers, and offering up trade ideas. They are the Celtics biggest rival. I hope he comes to the Celtics or any team not the Cavaliers.

Just got a real good feeling about that Lakers pick next year. That roster is god awful. $50M tied up in Mozgov, Deng, Brewer and Clarkson.

Why do people insist on trading Jaylen Brown?

It's mind numbing.

Did you see my laminated proposal lol?
I'm not "insisting" on anything. Relax.

He never said that. He said he prefers LA when he leaves them next year.

That doesnt imply he's leaving after playing a year on a contender. His price is low. Passing on this easy trade out of fear is just..ah.

Ab, crowder, jackson, plus 2 picks ( no brk 18 or lal 18)

I think this leaves us close to having max cap space to sign Hayward or Griffin.
