Our stars are 20 years old, we've got 2 stud all-star vets, the best defensive player in the league, great underrated bigs and a bunch of young players who are going to be excellent role players plus we have the most valuable thing in the league, draft picks. we're basically stacked and sitting pretty. Just a matter of time before we make the leap and run off a few championships. The rebuild just started lets not suddenly become impatient about it and make moves just for the sake of making em. Thats not Danny's MO he's got a plan and ya'll need to have faith.
Let me respond to your post by asking you a couple questions. Why did the Celtics just lose to Miami, and why did they almost lose to Toronto? I'll make an assumption on your response and say that the Celtics just weren't able to close. Which is right. They weren't. Up 6 with 5 minutes to go last night and then the Heat took over down the stretch. why? because they were tougher, stronger, and forced their way to victory while Boston was jacking three's and playing soft. Hayward is soft, Kemba is soft, and Theis is too small to be a starting Center.
Last night the game swung in the Celtics favor as soon as Brad put in Timelord. Timelord is a player...He's a keeper. Turner is a combination of Theis/Timelord. And Dipo is tough and can be a Jimmy Butler type down the stretch.
