He had 8 assists, but needs to get some shots to go down too.

Hugo rookie mistake resulted in Miami taking the lead.

Looks like only Baylor and Bassey have a shot at being a rotation player this season.

Bassey gives you rebounds, but not really a rim protector.

Queta will definitely get a shot at becoming a starter this season.

Great.
We should have finished them.

Walsh didn't do us any favors.

I really don't get the Shulga hate here. He was their 3rd pick, has only played 3 SL games, is headed to Maine on a 2-way, and has looked a lot more composed out there than their other picks. Has made some nice passes, moves decently without the ball, and had an 8/0 assts/TO ratio tonight.

Not impressed by anything I saw today.

Gonzalez had a pretty bad game. I think I'll forget about Shulga's existence in a matter of days. Scheierman had an OK all-around game but his shooting is still erratic. Walsh was completely out of character, I wonder what the heck was going on with him. Charles "Shirley" Bassey had his worst game of the SL so far (but almost posted a double-double).

To my surprise, the offense seemed to flow better when Lofton was on the court.

Rachaun Holmes will soon be on the market. I could see the Celts having interest in him.

We played like crap and still barely lost. That's summer league, for ya..

Doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things..

Box score has Hugo 1/7 from 3 this game..I thought he hit 2 of them? Maybe 1 of them he had a foot on the line?

The Heat had a lot more games together from the California summer league and a much more experienced roster with Ware their only guy under 24 years old getting minutes tonight. Not sure what they are doing playing only eight guys on a back to back in summer league but congrats on getting the win I guess.

Tough game for my guy Gonzalez. Didn't help he got mauled all game with no calls but it'll be a good learning experience.

Scheierman is the only guy that can run the offense on that team but he can't play 40 minutes.

Walsh was actually having his best game of summer league before getting tossed. The first tech was soft as hell but not sure what went through his head for the second.

Norris can't inbound the ball. It's embarassing for the player but at some point the coach has to take responsability for this too and use someone else in that spot.

Bassey looked very ordinary the moment he was faced with NBA talent and not back up summer leaguers.

I don't like talking about the refs but they were atrocious tonight. Would call touch fouls on one possession and let someone get murdered on the next one with no call. Zero consistency. Well actually there's one thing they were consistent on, and that's not calling any moving screens on Miami, including Ware wiping out Gonzalez with the Celtics up 4 and less than two minutes to play to get the Celtics in rotation and get an open three that put Miami back in the game. That was made worse by calling a bunch of them on the Celtics. Let's hope they don't move up to the NBA any time soon.

Felt a little depressed after the game.
Five drafts into Brad's regime, and we've got:

Juhann Begarin
JD Davison
Jordan Walsh
Baylor Scheierman
Anton Watson
Hugo Gonzalez
Amari Williams
Max Shulga

as the entirety of Celtics draft picks over that span.
what if no one on this list is an NBA player in 3 or 4 yrs?

The announcers were unbearable and the game was forgettable.
