Sean Deveney@SeanDeveney

Maybe it'll happen someday, but every time I ask about Rajon Rondo being traded by the @celtics, I get the same response: "Same old BS."

Ilyasova and Sanders are one dice roll to keep this team in conversations.. Both available, both played big roles on an 8 seed two years ago that startled people...

I am almost ready to guarantee SAC invests in Stauskas for his reliability and watches Mclemore blow up somewhere else...

I think Sanders is basically off the block unless you're willing to put up assets worthy of a DPOY candidate. Kidd tried to trade Brook Lopez and change for him last season because he loves his defense, but he got shot down by the organization who weren't interested in him.

I think before Kidd moved over there he could have potentially been had at a discount, but now I think Kidd would demand too much for any team to deal for him including the Celtics.

Sanders apparently punched Dunleavy Jr in the face after a game, for no real reason..

Sacramento
Williams and McLemore for Green and the Clips pick

Thoughts?

If Pacers need to clear salary to keep Lance

Bogans, Babb and Iverson for Scola, Copeland and their 2015 1st.

Saves Pacers 8 million in salary to keep Stephenson. Obviously this depends on them wanting to keep Stephenson and not being willing to go over the luxury tax by any significant amount.

I like the players you've targeted, the CHA trade is the most plausible and good for both sides. I think its gonna take more to get Ben McLemore which I would be all for, IMO he will be a dangerous SG with awesome shooting potential and crazy athleticism. The rumor from everything I've read was our 6th pick for McLemore straight up, as in we wouldn't have gotten their 8th, so thats a steep price, something thats do-able with the right combination of assets but more than Green and a late 1st.

So Boogie thinks Rondo is the best PG in the league... just saying.

IF (and that's a big if) we end up trading Rondo, I think Sacramento is a likely destination.

That said, I believe that a Rondo trade would only happen if Ainge believes he can't get any other quality players to come here at the trade deadline or possibly even next offseason, and decides to go for a full, muti-year rebuild... not something I'm rooting for.
