Any interest in Jrue Holiday? I don’t see the Pels looking to deal him but it’s possible.

Could also start a massive team with Baynes, Horford, Hayward, Tatum and Brown. That would be a lot of pressure on Hayward to be the main ball handler though.
If you resign Rozier putting Smart ahead of him is asking for issues. If you're bringing him back you're committing to him as a top option. 1 or probably a 2 with some ego massaging. I understand this sounds nuts but listen to his interviews with ESPN and he clearly lays out what his expectations are. He takes Kyries minutes and touches or else there's going to be problems.

No more Mook. No more Rozier, if possible. Adios, Kyrie. Worst thing we could do is just run it back.
Bulpett says here we didn't get Anthony Davis.
Yep. Sign a pass first guy like Rubio, extend Horford and roll with Horford, Tatum, Hayward, Brown, Rubio, Williams, Baynes, Ojeleye, Smart and 2-3 2019 picks. Perhaps trade 20 or 22 for a future pick.
Hope that Hayward's much better, Tatum and Brown become All Stars soon, and that they hit on the MEM and SAC picks.

Much like with Irving and Rozier, I'd try to sign Morris so we don't lose him for nothing, but I'd trade his ass as soon as possible.
It's interesting that Morris says he enjoyed his time in Boston, considering he was the first (and only?) player to speak out during the season about how this wasn't a fun season. I wonder if his stance is changing now that Irving and Rozier both seem to be on their way out.

I like Rozier on a rookie contract. I do not like Rozier if he wants anything more than 8 mil a year. Not a starting PG IMO. I wouldn't resign him.

Morris played very for us, and if Kyrie was back or AD here, I want him back.
Now? Not sure.
The thing is, Brad Stevens made Morris into a really terrific player. Really let him Flourish.

Shouldn't we be focused on the "young core" as the ones leading us to win, isn't that what all of this bs was about? So get rid of them all and let smart brown tatum do it. Miss the playoffs. Who gives a ****, at least wed have a shot at the lottery.

Rondo can’t shoot, but he can’t not shoot as much as Rubio

Who knows? There is an opportunity cost to resigning him. Maybe his replacement would help the Celtics win even more.
Huge team and ability to rebound? Are you out of your freaking mind?robdog_5 wrote:I've wondered what it would be like to start Horford, Hayward, Tatum, Brown and Smart. All hail playoff Rondo. Rather have him than Rubio.
In other news,
Too bad their are so many teams with cap space. Because , I would love to get our hands on Julius Randle. Think he would fit our team well and add an interior presence on offense that we lack quite often. Rather have him over Morris.

They have to rescind him if they want to max someone else out. Best they could offer would be the room exception. If we don’t go under the cap we will have Full MLE to offer.

Re: Celtics General Offseason Thread, 2019 – Welcome to the Party, #2
I’m always the first to admit that I don’t know the nuances of NBA trades and transactions. With that in mind, is there any situation where an Irving for DLo double sign and trade works? Or makes sense? Obviously Brooklyn has no incentive to do the deal unless they are getting more than Kyrie. Could we do Kyrie and Memphis pick for Russell for example? We’d essentially be getting Russell for a high 1st and Brooklyn would be getting a high 1st for nothing if they plan on letting DLo walk.
I brings the ruckus to the ladies!

I am clearly just assuming they told him to hold tight until they wrap some things up. Rondo isn't playing for paydays anymore, he takes what he can get
