This may sound naive, but it's always been my hope that we develop a star, not poach one. Whether or not Tatum or Brown actually become one, I'm happy to believe in them, results be damned. Boston has had a lot of success these last twenty years, and all of it was because we took the time to buy into the guys no one thought were good enough.

Kemba is not a star. He is a very good player, top 18-20 player but he is no star. We don't have to pump him now that kyrie is gone. An all star is still a very good player. No knock in being an all star.

You say that talent and stars win in the NBA but want to pass on Kemba in favor of spreading our cap space out ???

Leaves Middleton, Brogdon. Hope they lose at least Brogdon. If Raps lose Kawhi, Philly lose Butler East is wide open for the Celtics.

So the next topic is what big men can we get on the cheap? Hope Williams can play well but the team has too much talent and is spending too much money to place that kind of pressure on a 2nd year player who didn't play much his first year.

Not sure on the cap but we have vet min deals and the smaller MLE right? Can Mook be brought back? Can Terry be sign and traded for a big?

This team got knocked out in the 2nd round with Kyrie. So remember that when you say this team with Kemba is a 2nd round team.

With no Horford on this roster, I prefer Kemba because he's not a miserable prick and is extremely durable.

They can still a quote a star.

According to Gordon Hayward, Robert Williams III has been working hard in the gym. He will be a "monster." His words, not mine. Whether it's GIno Time Monster or Playoff Time Monster is TBD.

It would be really nice if Taco Fall could be an in case of emergency break the glass 5-10 minutes player this year. I have my doubts.

I guess this is why he got a summer league invite so the Celtics can find out live.

You overrate Kyrie and that has nothing to do with him being gone. I’ve always felt this way about him and Kemba. You need to stop letting media hype guide your opinions.
