Just a hunch, but I have a feeling Jaylen is good as gone. Not sure Danny is gonna want to pay him. Question is, who can we trade him for?

I'd use our last spot on a veteran 4 guy, if anybody decent is available for the vet min (I know, seems laughable). As much for the vet presence as anything. We're really young this year.

Yes, he had some problems last season. He also came from a nasty knee injury but I guess if your name isn't Kyrie or Hayward nobody cares.

He's our ONLY big that can shoot. Not the only one that can shoot well. The only one who can shoot, period. In Brad's system you need guys like him to spread the floor. He's also a better defender than Poirier.

I hope we can keep him here at something like 1.5 million, which I think is the minimum he can earn. You guys wanna get rid of someone? Try Yabusele, who's getting paid twice as much.
I'm starting to think Brad must be planning on adjusting his offense to not need a shooting big. All the moves this off-season signal that not being a priority anymore.

Someone on a podcast, maybe Jay King, said that Brad always wanted a "rim running" 5 and Danny kept giving him floor spacers. On the other hand, Brad seemed to have no idea how to use B. Wright. Then again, maybe he knew Wright would be flipped and never tried.

In any event, I don't think the offense will suffer much if the bigs can screen, pass, and finish well around the rim. I think we got guys that can do that (though Time Lord needs to improve his screen-setting).

Nothing is official until the 6th, at the earliest.

If we absorb Kemba's salary into cap space in the Rozier-Walker swap, then yes we will need to renounce rights to Morris.

Current roster (nothing official):

The only one showing vids of him working on his game big time. Nah, I'd keep him. I love Smart, he's my dude, but even with all he does, JB will be better at the same age. Might have to use his salary and worth to improve the team and free up JB time.

Tatum. Lift some weights bro. Need that first before all the rest. kid needs to look like a shorter Giannis in 3 years. He needs to be our 4. Even if Hayward leaves, Lanford would be 2, JB3, Tatum still the 4.

Hayward has one year after next. Then his contract is off the books.

Jaylen isn’t going anywhere if he reaches that next level this season.

Send Edwards, Waters to Maine. Re-sign Theis.

Sign Dudley, Cousins, Pachulia, that would be 15 spots.

No room for Zaza, Cousins and Theis with both Williams’, Poirier and Kanter on the team.

My guess is that Jaylen has got until the trade deadline to reach the next level, or Danny trades him. Time to prove you're worth the huge contract that you'll want next summer.

Jaylen was always a long-term project. He is improving every year. The first couple of months last year were a hiccup but by the end of the year he was playing as well as ever.

I don't think we want to dump Jaylen until we know what he can do. Too much potential there. The things he needs to fix, like ballhandling, team defense, and decision making, are fixable with coaching and experience.

Also, other than Smart, he is probably the highest effort-level guy we have.

Hopefully the shot fixing stuff doesn't turn Langford into Fultz

I really want to see Jaylen come out of the gates balling this year. Can’t handle him taking until January to start playing well again.

I'm still shocked so many of you like him. Even after what Cave has told us about him. Even after his injury riddled season last year. Smh

Also, he got called the N-word in Boston last time he played here. He wasn't going to come here anyways.
