Over the course of this season, he shot less than 45% 3-10 feet away from the basket. He didn't take many shots outside of 10 feet, and when he didn't shoot well. He is also coordinated enough to draw fouls against Theis.
45% from two = 30% from 3. Sure, if you don't defend him, that rises a bit. But it won't kill us. I would rather see us simplify our defensive objectives, focus on keeping Bam from getting easy baskets underneath, and not worry too much about his midrange game.
