Also... Wordle.

I am always a Johnny Come Lately on this sort of stuff, my brother-in-law added me to his Wordle Whatsapp group the other day (had never heard of it) and now it is part of my morning routine.

I came across this the other day thanks to the Youtube algorithm. Song lyrics illustrated by some sort of AI program (https://www.midjourney.com/home/).

War Pigs - Black Sabbath

Hurt - Johnny Cash

This stuff is pretty crazy. Skynet or the Matrix is definitely killing us all at some point in the future.

Yeah, Midjourney (and the other AI applications to create digital art) are incredible and scary at the same time.

I am into Andor. Likely makes it to my top 10 shows for the year.

House of the Dragon's finale was brilliant. The show delivered and I honestly did not expect to like it as much as the early Game of Thrones seasons before it jumped the shark. It's a remarkable achievement given the stakes and lofty expectations placed upon it. HBO is THE best when they're "on".

The Peripherals is interesting and very good so far.

"The Watcher" is great and the first season of "The Sinner" is crazy. On to season 2 now.

Hendrix or Prince? Who ya got?

Prince might be THE most talented musician in modern history so him. He's the far superior singer, writer, dancer and front man and he's a world class guitarist as well. 'Purple Rain' is a 10/10 and one of the very few perfect albums ever made.

It really is. Was just listening to the album after watching the movie and even the stuff that didn't get major play as popular singles off that album still bang. Take me With U and particularly Baby I'm A Star just get me rockin.

Was lucky enough to see Prince on his Musicology tour. Fantastic.

Started watching The Watcher based on this post. 2 episodes in and I definitely like it a lot so far (though to be fair it's hard to find something I don't like in the horror, mystery, thriller, crime, suspense, sci-fi genres).

Watched the first 3 seasons of The Sinner a year or two back and loved it (season 1 is the best though). Gotta watch the new season still.

Barbarians on Netflix is superb. One of great moments in history captured perfectly.

Andor be killing it.

The way they have set up this prison camp story line is amazing. I genuinely look forward to Wednesday evenings at the moment because of this show. And the set design and costume design is brilliant as well, it is one of the best looking shows I have seen.

If you like stalker/psychological thrillers, "You" on Netflix is a fun watch.

The Capture on Peacock is really good. It's a British spy/cop thriller with a very cool and unique plot about manipulating technology and how you can't always believe what you see. Season 1 was pretty mind melting and the new season is great too. Only 6 episodes each so it's not a massive time investment.

I watched The Batman over the weekend, not having seen it when it initially came out. My expectations going into any superhero movie are usually pretty low but I quite liked it, the noir/serial killer type story line I thought worked quite well within a Batman movie.

And as usual, I do not understand the internet tears and whining that occurred when it came out.

I don't know what's funnier, Casey and this skit or the Youtube comments about how accurate this is of Massachusetts Dunkins.

Don't know if any of you watch Andor on Disney+ but I just watched the best episode of the series. Episode 10 just dropped and it was nothing short of masterful. Absolute acting clinic by Andy Serkis and Stellan Skaarsgard.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!
