I mean, Al Horford (who has taken better care of himself) is 36. So, we'll see.
Griffin as our 3rd Center. Kornet as our 4th. And Kabengele, or one of the younger players, as our Two-Way.
That's a decent Center-by-Committee.
Blake is the oldest 33 year old in BB history
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Re: Welcome to Boston Blake Griffin!
Bill Walton's fused ankle bones came in Boston at 33 as well. Not saying Blake is Bill, but Blake is much much healthier than Bill was then.
Didn't know Griffin broke his kneecap before his 1st NBA season. He had a pretty explosive game after that as well. Played 50+ games last year. He's near the end. I'm sure he wants to walk on a beach in retirement.
Blake Griffin is going to compete as hard as he can and it's going to be inspiring and contagious.

And yet the Celtics signed Blake. Should we consider why?
My guess is they don't like taking risks..
I think it's playstyle. We haven't had anyone as big and beefy as Baynes since 2018. Whiteside, Howard, and Cousins are not quite "all of Australia", but they aren't playing any 4 either, and Blake gives that 4/5, (somewhat) switchable versatility, while *also* being able to fit in/contribute MUCH more to a ball-motion offense than those guys.
Yeah. The hope is Griffin gives them what Baynes gave them a few years ago.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything

I guess we'll see him vs TOR. Unless he's injured too haha.

I think Friday it’s more likely.

If the game vs. the Hornets is an indication of how this team intends to play (pace, spacing, movement, passing), I'll take the over. Griffin can live off dives, cuts, and dumpoffs. All dunks will be assisted though.

I think the most exciting part of Blake would be his passing. He can really thrive with this pace, if the shot comes back even better.

Ah over. At *least* six.
No joke though it's crazy how his huge dunk totals dropped off before 25.

Low bar, but I'm hoping his stint with the Cs goes better than Tristan Thompson's or Kris Humphries' lol.

This little shot at some past coaches (Nash) was fun.

Is it just me or does he look a little slimmed down and in better shape than last season?

RODMAN spelled differently is RANDOM. 91 has never been worn by a Celtic.
Such a vet, even in interviews. Knows how to pander to the media and fans lol. Give the people what they want, BG!

Probably thinks this is his last shot to prove he can be a valued piece for contending team, that could lead to a player putting in extra work. The teams that want him are slim pickings, likely no one before us.
