about the foul on Brown that they wrongfully overturned. I would have preffered a no-call to what happened. if it was a no call, another second or two comes off the clock before they call a timeout. combined with the foul to give. instead they kill the play with over 3 seconds left and pacers advance the ball. calling the foul then overturning it was a worse scenario than if they just didn't call it at all.

I haven't checked again, but watching them view the monitor live during the replay, it looked like they viewed it from three angles, and it was the last one that clearly showed the head contact. I feel like they had made up their mind already while the last angle was playing, but didn't notice. He didn't even say "contact with the ball was before incidental contact" in his call, so it was like I don't even think they saw the hit on the head. They saw the ball contact without a foul from the first 2 angles and had made up their mind too quick. Very interesting L2M report tomorrow, for sure.

You can be simultaneously frustrated by the refs screwing up AND bad decisions by Joe and Jaylen and KP. We got all those things.

Personally, I care much less about the refs/loss than I do about our decision-making under pressure.

Not surprised about JB's last shot because he's still a work in progress.

I understand Joe letting JB cook in the last few seconds of the game because it was house money.

If JB missed that shot and the refs didn't call a foul or reviewed the foul, the clock would've been still running and we were headed to OT.

What about the people who blind Lessly follow Joe even when ALMOST everyone thinks Joe should call a timeout. Or when teams score 44 points in a 3rd quarter and Joe hardly ever calls a timeout?

That's because the whistle was blown immediately.

The Cs stopped playing when the whistle was blown.

If that was a no-call then the Cs would not have stopped playing.

Wow, can't believe Ref James Williams told Jaylen he didn't get hit on the head. Not only did Williams not watch the replay close enough, he's still sticking with that. He's easily the worst ref in the NBA and every team needs to think twice about challenging calls he is going to look at replays for. He's lost credibility.
