IMO, other than Tony Allen, no one cuts to the basket off the ball. Pierce has done it once or twice tonight, but only to try to open KG for an isolation, not a hard cut looking for a score inside. Rondo has also stopped penetrating. That's my take. And, no problems about the other night, I know people get "troll" sensitive, especially considering the number of Celtic trolls roaming the boards.
Rondo's still moving gingerly, and isn't 100%, compared to how I've seen him in the past.

From what I see so far, you're right, Tony Allen penetrated and that's it.

At least the defense Boston plays is absolutely stifling, but the offense isn't championship sharp right now.
The Wizards shoukd have drafted Derik Queen

I told you so :banghead:

Oh, Paul, don't you know that driving strong to the hoop is so last year?!!??!?!?

What a sight for sore eyes.

Sweet move by Paul followed by an Eddie 3! Nice to see that one go down.

Nice to see them put a little distance here. The Wizards are a little pesky bunch who move the ball well on offense, so I'm not saying it is over. But, they need to keep their foot on their throats and finish this thing.

Agree. And I know you're not THAT interested in the C's (understandable), but even when healthy, Rondo doesn't do it persistantly. He'll drive strong for the 1st half and go into a shell in half 2.

Pierce can take over this game whenever he wants IMO.

I think he's clearly the best perimeter player on the court and Butler's been held way below what he normally gives the Wizards.

Boston's got the best defense by far and it's impressive that now Pierce is getting to the rim.

Tony will help. You can see him building confidence. That being said, he is not a PG. I'm not saying we need to sign another one just to do so, but putting TA in that position plays away from his strengths, which you just saw with that dunk.

Agree. Just to make the record clear, I've been saying that he's no point guard from the start. I have no qualms with him receiving the first pass in the half court set looking for drive opportunities, but his passing is too unstable to use at the point. Plus I don't trust him handling the ball in the full court.

Good thing the refs are giving us the charges.

When is Ray going to start putting the ball on the floor again?

Doc needs to put Perk in for Posey IMO. 2nd chance points will kill the Celtics in the last 3+ minutes.

Offense is pitiful. Just stand around while PP jacks it up. Come ON!!!!!
