Pretty much this.

13/11/2 on 64% shooting per36 last season on 8.7 FGA per 36(only 3.4 fouls per 36 so not unreasonable to think he can play those minutes)

Give him some more shots and let him play big minutes.

Next summer becomes an expiring with a good season behind him.

16/12/2 in a high paced offense playing 35 minutes isn't out of the question imo.

He's used as a trade asset next year as an expiring deal, in a contract year, still young with one of our other players attached to get a better player

Trade as many guys (Terry/Lee/KG) and get under the apron then do a sign and trade for Millsap.

Out KG/Terry/Lee = 23 Mill
In DJ/Butler = 21 Mill

Then Out Bass, Melo,Crawford to Utah = 10 Mill
In Millsap for almost same amount = 10 Mill let's say

Trade Butler to 3rd team looking for large expiring = -8 Mill

That leaves:

Rondo/Schroeder 13.7 Mill
Bradley 2.5 Mill
Pierce/Green 24.2 Mill
Millsap/Sully 11.4 Mill
Jordan 13 Mill

That's way below the luxury tax line. Very decent team with Pierce still around and the addition of Millsap.
