Line was Sixers -4.5, Royce O’Neal throws it to the Sixers for an easy basket when they were down only 3. LOL can’t make this **** up

That's ridiculous if I'm not missing something. I'd be pissed as a Nets fan.
I didn't really think Harden should have been ejected either, although O'Neale's reaction coupled with Embiid's previous tech might have made that ref feel obliged...plus I guess Harden's move was calculated and unprovoked.

Nets are horrible lol. I really thought they could steal a game at least. Sweep in coming. More rest for embiid before the next rd sucks.

Refs gonna have to keep an eye on Embiid in the next round. Just as much a dirty player as Draymond. He just doesn’t get the attention for it.

Suns really making hard work against a undermanned Clipper Team. I really do think the Lakers might make it out of the West. No team out there really stands out.

The NBA should suspend Embiid a game for his intentional kick in Game 3 but I hope they don't. I'd rather Embiid play and wear himself out.

Nurse is insufferable. But I always got the impression that he was solid and had them playing hard

Seems like this season though, he lost the locker room and the players kind of gave up towards the end.
Kind of like what happened during Brad's last season coaching us.
Nurse even made some comments in the media during the 2nd half of the season, hinting that he was gonna be gone after the season.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything

Nurse is a damn good coach. I wonder what went wrong for him in Toronto.

I don’t think anything really went wrong. They overachieved with Kawai, some vets and otherwise a pretty young roster at the time.
Since Leonard left though, none of the stuff they used to do during that seasons has really worked and they haven’t gotten a ton of development from those younger guys of a few years ago. Definitely feel like OG and Pascal are the same players.
Just lost the Locke room a bit after little-no improvement the last couple years. Doesn’t say much about him as the coach. Realistically it’s the same thing that happened to Stevens.

I just came here to see what you guys had to say about Ime in retrospect. Was it just a consensual sex thing (i.e. who cares), or was there a real stalker aspect to it? He seemed like a great coach, who really toughened up your team. Raptors could use someone like that.
But I will add that Raps finished with the second best winning percentage in the NBA three seasons in a row, the year before Kawhi, the year of Kawhi and the year after Kawhi (when our respective teams met in an epic 7 game series). So the sparkplug that Nurse and the Raptors relied on wasn't Kawhi - the team went 17-5 in games he was load managed that season.
It was Kyle Lowry, before his body broke down. We were hoping that Fred would be that guy, but he's just not.

He’s been there 10 years. 5 previously as an assistant and sometimes you just need a new voice. Brad was a great coach here but his voice stopped carrying weight…it happens

The Celtics were very tight lipped about what exactly happened. But apparently he was seeing someone consensually, then she broke if off and told him to bug off, but he continued hitting on her and being inappropriate. So basically he was suspended for harassment. But most of what was out there at the time was speculation and we don't really know the details.
As a coach it's just hard to judge from one season. The team sucked for a first half of the year and so we started wondering if Ime sucked. Then the team turned it around and got to the Finals and we all thought he was great lol.
The team's defense hit a new level under Udoka. The offense is now much better under Mazzulla while still the #2 defense. But you can point to things like roster changes and health etc for that stuff too. The players like them both.
Imo fans are really terrible judges of coaches haha. It's just hard to know what going on behind the scenes and what the cause of certain things are. Like when the team suddenly turned it around under Ime... was that because Ime had gotten better as a coach, or because the team got better at doing what he wanted, or it just takes time or who knows?
If you guys get him I think that would be a good choice based on my limited information. Raps really need some shooting on the roster and more skilled players regardless of the coach imo.
