There was a list of like 10-15 guys who Boston was rumored to be interested in over the past couple of months. Brad didn't trade for any of them..he ends up scooping up 2 guys who no one was talking about. I think 1 person mentioned Tillman as a possible target for us on here awhile ago and that's it.

Brad is stealth..

Dont know if it was rumored in the media, but Tillman was much discussed here at least.

I must have missed some of those discussions.

As I said in my post, I only recall like 1 person mentioning him on here and it was awhile ago.

The main point of my post was that there seemed to be at least 10-15 names of players who were getting mentioned as potential trade targets for the C's much more frequently than Tillman (in the media and on here).

And I'm mainly referring to trade rumors in the media, which typically have actual intel behind them. The trade threads on here mention half the league haha.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Probably not. Not even Masai would give up a FRP just to trade for a player then waive him right away.

Supposedly they intend to keep him.

We couldn't sign him anyway if he were bought out. (2nd Apron stuff)

Tillman was pitched a ton of times here and also on the t+t board for Boston, kind of cooled a bit over time and lost momentum as people didn't love his offensive output.

Springer though, ok Brad can have his stealth title back lol.

From media reports, we were never really linked to Tillman AFAIK but people on here talked about him as a possibility for big man depth (a couple posters really wanted him).

TBF, these threads talk about trading for like 75% of the league. LOL.

Yeah, he's not getting bought out. They sent a 1st in the trade. You don't do that for a buyout lol. Thats where those top 55 seconds are used.

But, if he were, he could sign with the Celtics. He makes just enough under MLE. He's making 12.2 Million, MLE is 12.4.

Hard to believe Kyrie and Grant couldn’t get along.

Honestly don’t blame them tbh. Grants act wears thin when you’re a serious team competing for a title. Sometimes Grant loses sight of that and likes to dress up like Batman instead.

Tillman was definitely mentioned quite a few times. Him and Konchar combined to fit the Grant TPE, so they were regularly floated as a potential duo especially after Ja went down at the start of Jan. I think apart from people cooling on him as his offensive output struggled, he just didn't seem like a guy who Memphis would be willing to let go given their depth chart

Memphis were already incredibly thin at the 5 with Adams out for the season, then had to let Kenny Lofton Jr. go to keep Bismack once Ja came back from suspension. Then let Bismack go to make room for Vince Williams Jr. after Ja went down. So Tillman was one of the few options they had and then they shipped out Adams, so it just seemed highly unlikely they were moving him since he wasn't likely to return much, but was cheap depth.

Springer was stealthy af though.

I think Grant eventually has a resurgence. He just needs to get his head screwed on straight and bring less attention to himself (and play better obviously).
