Not sold on Philly improving. Seems more like a desperation signing because their other players were leaving and they had to spend the money before cap space disappeared. Don’t get me wrong Horford has been a very good player but his decline has already begun and the fit is awful.

So how much of a drop off is favors?

I am hopeful of some Favors buzz. He can do a lot of what Al did on defense, and is not an absolute zero outside the key on offence. Can't space the floor out to the three though.

He is developing some range. Good player. If we can get him thy would be sweet. Can’t see it though at room exception.

Kawhi is screwing the league by waiting for "a couple of days" to make his decision.

How? He’s definitely impacting DLo, but the league? LeBron is 35. AD is injury prone. Chemistry and so forth. **** the Fakers.

Lebron won’t have to do much with having a guy like leonard that can defend and Davis doing his thing. You must be dreaming. Lakers win 55 games next season.

Al at the 4 is an interesting choice. Especially with the best guy in the league on the break in Simmons ...

It also pushes Harris to the 3 (or off the bench).

It's also worth noting that when Al chose to leave the Hawks, it was rumored that he was sick of playing the 5 and wanted to go somewhere where he could play the 4. That may have been a factor in his decision to sign with the Sixers.

While we may have gotten Kemba, Sixers got Horford, and Kawhi is probably going to choose between raptors or lakers so a lose-lose situation regardless. Kyrie and Durant in Brooklyn. The Atlantic division is by far the strongest now

I’m not at all. I think we can compete with anyone not named raptors with Kawhi in the east imo. I just wanted to be greedy and have Al back and Kawhi to the clippers to make things a lot easier for the Celtics to get to the finals.

Yeah it's laughable to consider him much of a vocal leader after witnessing last year's Celtics.

He’s a quiet leader. Good for young guys to learn from but isn’t the type to call anybody out on their bull like a KG or Pierce would. Which is what we needed in the worst way but I think Jimmy is a bit more in that Kyrie mold than anyone else in Philly. Sure Embiid is a little immature but otherwise they may not need anything over the top leadership wise. Al’s a good fit for them

He's a lead by example type guy. The only problem is the NBA is full of brats who don't give the slightest of ****.

He won't cause any issues, and if only players respected him would he quell them. So it depends on the player if they respect Al enough to follow him.

Al will, much like his presence on offense, won't be the reason you win or have a great locker room. But he'll complement any positives in a locker room quite well. And that's about it.

If you got some negative players they'll walk all over him like the doormat.

A lot of free agents are being put on hold. Kawhi affects the next tier signings, and then the next tier is waiting, too.

SImmons is overrated as hell. The guy’s a weak link. Do they have shooters? Where’s the bench? They have size but where are the shooters?

I was thinking the same thing. The guy almost never post up. Always a pick n pop at the 3pt line. Im sick of it actually due to the low percentage it brings. Now we need a big center that can post up at least.
