Rough end, but how do you complain about that half really.

I don't think anyone is complaining.But rather acknowledging that we really could have had it much bigger If we do we just continue playing the right way. At least that's the way I see it.

So my main takeaway after the first half:

The Celtics can create good looks far easier than the Mavs can. Whether its Brown against the Mavs less agile perimeter guys or KP facing up a small on a switch they have ways to generate easy offense.

The Mavs will play better than this for a majority of this series, but the advantage is clearly Celtics. They just have more talent.

2nd half is incredibly important. The Mavs will adjust and cut the lead, the Celtics need to sustain their Mav's offense.

The headline will be KP but the real headline is the Celtics defense holding the Mavs to 44% shooting, 23% three point shooting and 42 points in the half.

Celtics keep playing defense like this, the series will be over quickly

The ball needs to be in Derrick white’s hand to end quarters. Stop **** around in the final minutes. It’s the finals not the regular season. No 3 point prayers where if it goes in the crowd goes nuts but if it’s a miss it’s a horrible shot. Don’t look for home runs
