Well not sure what to think with not actually seeing the game. R Williams out can explain some things but not others. One thing for sure is the team is out of the stratosphere now for sure. It was a tough game that the Celts certainly could have had. A bad spell late in the 4th seems to've sunk it. Not sure what R Williams could've done about just plain old missed shots, bunnies and layups.

I guess we need a larger sample size to really see what's what.

I can't disagree. Whole thing would be put to bed if the team or either of the two players simply said they were vaxxed. That's not happening for a reason imo.

Our worst showing on this graphic in quite a while. But still pretty dang good, really.

Not rendering a verdict, but, Ime's responses give off a little of an "I'm immunized" vibe.

Maybe being too hopeful, but Ime was pretty clear the other day that everyone will be available. Then Brad comes out and is a bit more vague, and Ime follows up a bit more vague.

We added like 6-7 players at the deadline. I think it's more likely one of the new guys isn't vaccinated, which Ime doesn't give a crap about in general, so yeah, he said "everyone is available" because in his mind, everyone who he cares about will be. Brad, as usual, takes a more literal approach, and I bet Ime didn't even know the vaccine status of all the guys who came to this team in February so he's had to walk it back a bit.

If the official stance of the team is to not disclose vaccine status since the beginning of the year, they aren't going to come out and say, "yeah player x at the end of the bench isn't vaccinated, but it doesn't really matter since they won't play anyway" now. It's really on JB, Horford, or whoever to come out and just say they are vaccinated at this point. Horford did say he would be "ready to play" anyone recently.

Tatum (11-2 w/ MVP numbers and bonkers +/-) and Udoka (11-3 w/ bonkers point differential) likely win Player of the Month and Coach of the Month for March respectively unless Giannis (10-2 and gaudy numbers) and/or Bud (11-3)/Barrego (10-4) swoop in. Neither Tatum nor Giannis has received the award since the bubble.

We'll know Saturday afternoon.

JT player of the week three times in a month-- kinda has to be player of that month imo.

I'm with you. Some of the voting stuff is weird though so there might be a 2.57% chance Tatum gets robbed.

How many Teams finish the Season, with 3 Road Games?

Canada changed their vaccine mandate after that.

Spoiler:
Once again, if JB is not vaxxed & cannot play in Canada if we draw the Craps, he immediately will become a despicable & selfish ignoramus in my eyes INDEFINITELY. As I made clear via 100+ originally sourced citations during the almost 2 year now defunct Covid thread, it is NOT a mother **** ‘personal choice’ issue. And those saying that are clueless. Very unwisely not getting treated for a very serious NON-CONTAGIOUS illness is INDEED a ‘personal choice’ issue. I have witnessed it myself with a few of my patients over decades of experience. Covid is not in that category. Unforgivably harming the team & putting himself personally at risk for the evolving very serious consequences of ‘long Covid’ even after a mild case are the least of the reasons. He becomes a Typhoid Mary who can potentially spread the disease to family, friends & strangers (some of whom are more likely to become very seriously ill due to age & underlying medical co-morbidlies), AND the more spread, the more replication, the more mutations, the more likely another bad ass variant will emerge. The incredibly & miraculously SAFE vaccines have unquestionably saved a million lives in America alone.
THE END. PERIOD.

This post is NOT Necessary.
I've changed it to a Spoiler.

Let's be done with the overall subject.
It only causes problems, as it will generate responses.

Don't agree with that decision to censor that subject. It's relevant and real.

I don't mind admitting I'm flummoxed by this team. I know I didn't imagine these celts looking like world beaters and toying with teams like a cat toys with a mouse. Snatched their hearts out of their chests. I saw it with my own eyes and watched the basketball world comment on it. So it was real and it was absolutely amazing. Anybody wonder what those celts would've done with the Heat? I'm almost certain it would've been the same type of smackdown they delivered to other decent/good teams during that wild stretch. Without Rob they almost pulled it off and faded in the stretch. With him I think they would have beat the Heat handily.

But I'm just so damn confused on how they can be such a different team with Rob and without him. There's a weird alchemy there that seems apparent but still mysterious to me. How his presence seemed to make every player the best player they could be. I'll be eagerly watching today. A nice 1 o'clock game. Gong to run out for beer in a little while and enjoy, hopefully, a nice win. And perhaps look for some flashes of that magic team even without Rob.

***And oh yeah, there should be a little knot in the hearts of Celts fans because apparently the lynch pin to that magic hinges on a seemingly somewhat fragile R. Williams. The guys got an injury history. A bit of a dark cloud on the horizon I fear.
