How anyone can support the offensive mantra of living by the 3 ball is beyond me.

Brad should be fired too

Fans should pressure the ownership to fire both

Well at least the bench players made the game somewhat respectable 102-128.. by the middle of the 3rd quarter I was expecting the score to be 63-145.

If this was a close series that the Celtics lost, Joe will not be fired.

But the way the Cs lost this series, there's no way the coach does not get fired.

It's a bit different with the Ime situation and with Brad continuing to stay a part of the franchise, I think....

If they choose not to fire him to save money, this organization is not serious about winning a title.

If they think he's a championship coach, fine. I disagree, but at least their head is in the right place. To save money? All that "Banner 18" talk from Wyc is pure bull

It’s either spend money on Joe after he’s gone and his replacement or spend money on this roster that doesn’t believe in him according to on the court performance this series. I can’t imagine Joe makes a ton so might be cheaper to bite the bullet on his sunk cost contract. Of course that removes pride from the equation so unlikely it happens. Pride from owners, Brad, and even players who said they wanted Joe. All would have to be on board for it to happen imo.

Coaches don't count against the cap. Only thing it would hurt is Wyc's pockets. If he doesn't get rid of Joe to save money, he isn't serious about a title. Point blank

Who cares what others think. Joe is not an nba coach. Everyone can see that. We can’t win with him. He has nothing in his bag. It doen’t matter if we change coach every year, if they are committed to winning, they need to find the right one, and not settle

Is he here to admit the series is over finally?

We didn't just lose the series. We got embarrassed.

You're not supposed to keep your job when you're this bad at it.

Not just Joe. Some of these players have to finally go too.

Yup Brad needs to go as well. Else, we’d be stuck with his philosophy of getting undersized players able to switch on D. We’d be stuck with marcus smart as long as brad’s here. We’d be stuck with getting soft ass players with no toughness,

That’s what I mean… cheaper for their pockets not the cap. I do worry they went all in with the cap this season and if this is how it ends they won’t want to come anywhere near that $ next season. If that’s the case won’t matter as much who the coach is as they’ll be giving guys away to save money.

Exactly! Major changes needs to happen. This team is extremely flawed on both ends. We don’t have flexibility on offense. No post up players and mid range game to go to, if our 3 ball ain’t working. On Defense, we switch hard, but we really don’t have a rim protector and a post defender. All we have are undersized bigs like Rob, who jumps high, and is good at help D, but can ‘t really command fear inside. It’s actually a layup fest out there. This team is flawed. A bunch of good individual players, but dosn’t fit right.

Obviously if it's 0-3 the series is over.

But when it's 0-2, it's not over.

I'm just not a quitter like some of you guys.

I prefer to fight til the end.

Holy ****.

Joe is out here admitting he's lost the team.

You can't recover from that.

Maybe if they ran off 3 straight.

Didn't you say Celtics in 7?

Still think this series goes to a Game 7?

Return to Boston Celtics
