We should NOT sleep on the Pacers this season. People keep talking about the Celtics/Raptors as the 2 teams fighting for the #2 seed. I think we absolutely need to add in the Pacers to that 2nd tier.

I mentioned that awhile when people were saying they "weren't worried about Toronto".

Raps and Pacers will be very tough teams this season. Can easily finish ahead of Boston. And without home court, I don't see us beating either.... Pending rosters stay as is.

I got Cle Bos Tor Ind in the top 4.

I know Indiana's make up doesn't scream good defense anymore, but if you watched that Raps series (not saying you didn't, just saying in general). Indy's biggest issue was putting the ball in the basket. So to me, all the moves they made coincided with that.

Teague is better than Hill. Not a crazy upgrade, but it's a slight upgrade. The difference is Teague can make plays happen. This is what Indy need. Same reason to go & get Al Jeff. let him get 10-12ppg with the 2nd unit as the focal point.

It's not George 85%, Ellis 10% & co 5% of the offense anymore. Teauge-Ellis-George-Jeff & some of Young. Can put the ball in the bucket. Plus i'm a huge Turner fan, think he can be the anchor on defense & be a bucket getter himself. Don't think his stats take a big jump this year because he;s on a better team & the love needs to be spread out, but I can see him getting 13-8-2 & should be their #2.

I guess his opportunities to coach again are looking bleak. There is no way in hell he can play in the NBA. If you love the game, playing a year in China could be an interesting, (and lucrative), experience. Plus it would open doors professionally.

I would think Westbrook gets a lot more respect now. I don't know why he is doing it, and in theory he is only adding one more year with OKC having control, but he did a good thing for basketball and obviously for his small-market team.

His stats could be very high, Oscar Robertson level, although turnovers up and field goal percentage down are possible.

He gets extra money this year, and a good number next season, followed by a player option. He could still get to L.A. in the future, although this does look like a loss for the Lakers as they were hoping to sign him in ten months time.

Next summer does look like Gordon Hayward time for Boston. Maybe the Thunder will have Westbrook and Griffin then.

Always been a fan of the dunk contest. It has evolved so far from Dr. J's (close to) foul line jam to last years Aaron Gordon "matrix" show. I truly believed a legit 720 was beyond human ability. I was **** wrong. These guys are incredible athletes. Wow.

I understand the Hayward option re he and CBS' connection. I think he is a good player, but not close to an elite talent. I just shudder at the idea of paying him a max and burying Jaylen and possibly the next couple lottery picks on the depth chart.

fake edit: just went to his BB Reference page. His numbers are OK, nothing to write home about. I hope in 3 years Jaylen is putting up similar stats on a rookie contract.

The only way I would be interested is if he can play the 2. He is bigger than AB, but I don't think he is a significantly better player.

Good for OKC. I didn't want their team to go to ****. For as angry we were when KD went to Golden State, just imagine how OKC fans must have felt...

I totally foreshadowed this

He's going "home" I bet. How weird would it be if he signed with the Knicks?

Game 3 and 7 of 2010 finals on NBA TV from 10 pm to midnight (1 hr each)
Funny how NBA TV chose to air both celtics losses.

They always do that, they play the wins from the team that won the series 99% of the time, the 1% being when they play series that have recently (past few weeks) occurred.

Game 3, man. **** Ray choking and Doc leaving him in as long as he did. I still think we win it all if we win that game.
