Cap space. Pre-trade.

Can teams sign FAs into their cap space before making another trade that pushes them over the cap?

If the answer to that is yes, then we may have that amount to use.

The guy’s going to the lakers and it makes me sick. The nba needs parity. Now we will another super team likely for the next 3 seasons or so.

FFS, what a farce. They had a brilliant season, did everything right and ruled out....

What does it say about the league if a team who objectively did everything right like the Raptors can't compete. Only after years of work take a one year all or nothing gamble? I mean for all the grief we've given them. It's a large cosmopolitan beautiful city, loyal fanbase, well run franchise. They don't deserve to be kicked in the shins like that.

At this point I'm almost half-expecting Zion to sign with Rich Paul saying he'll play the year in Europe unless he's traded to the Lakers. With a report of a Kuzma and a second round pick trade offer.
