So how can they assure that a player "recovered" from covid is no longer contagious?

Also, continuing to test positive sounds more like they had a false negative test. Lol

Wow.
That's an expensive Bench player.

I think it mostly has to do with Simmons. The offense runs poorly with him at the helm, and they had already given the car keys to Shake Milton, who also helps their spacing a lot. But if not Horford, putting Shake into the starting lineup would take a swingman defender off the floor.

I thought this move already happened, but was a little obscured by their injuries over the last couple of months before COVID.

They cannot with absolute 100% certainty.

According to this study published in Lancet Infectious Disease, after approximately 2 weeks, 3% may become + for virus again (2/3 asymptomatic & 1/3 with symptoms) & therefore potentially infectious again.

And these patients + for virus again may ALSO simultaneously have IgG & IgM antibodies.
Therefore, the presence of antibodies (the NBA’s ‘remedy’) does not exclude potential infectivity.

**** cluster **** of a disease.

I tried, listened to a Smart interview and it was all about the virus and if it was impacting his play. No more media for me.

Exhibitions start with a four-game slate Wednesday and continue through July 28. Each team will play three exhibitions, and the last two for each club will have the traditional 12-minute quarters. Plans call for all 33 exhibitions to be televised by some combination of local TV, national TV, NBA TV or NBA League Pass.
