Haven't seen one yet. There's just a news item about Heat not being on the Christmas Day game slate. And about their likely home opener and road opener. No mention of which teams are playing on XMas Day.

WHY DO YOU PLAY WITH MY EMOTIONS?!
I am eagerly awaiting the any snippets so I can plan my America trip in February... schedule should be out within the next 10 days or so though judging from previous release dates...

If they released snippets about the Heat schedule, expect more to come for other teams in the next few days.

Yeah. I've decided I need to go to Boston and catch a Celtics game at last this upcoming season too.... Flight tickets are ridiculously high though so I will almost definitely have to book super early. Waiting for this schedule...

Eh, I wouldn't rush. With the amount of money you will spend to come here and stay in Boston a few days you may as well wait until we're in full contention and you can say you watched a live game in a championship season. Celtics games are lots of fun, especially if you're the more vocal type and go with friends, but it's not a soccer stadium style "event" if you follow me. American sports arenas in general can be a very underwhelming experience for people from outside of the country.

On the same note, you'll likely have a much better experience when the team is back in full contention. Even though things are slowly improving every year, the atmosphere at the games is no where near what it was when we had Pierce and Garnett. It's night and day before and after they left. Garden went CRAZY during that era.

Yeah. I know the NBA experience is completely different to over here. I mean I wouldn't dream of wearing a United shirt and sitting amongst Liverpool fans at their home for starters, but that is a common thing in NBA home arenas. Us Brits tend to go a little overboard too when it comes to football(soccer)

I may keep an eye out for the Cavs games, because I imagine those should have a quality atmosphere barring a blowout, otherwise it may be wise to wait, you're right.

I found our final piece to our big 3!

So is the NBA on the back burner right now?
Metta World Peace: No, the NBA’s always on the front burner.
Are you still planning to play next season?
Metta World Peace: Absolutely. The NBA is always on the front burner.
Are you talking with teams right now?
Metta World Peace: I’m waiting for teams. I can still play. I can play, it’s not even a question man. But, you know, sometimes you don’t get in the game, man. What are you going to do? I’m not going to be upset, I’m going to support. So if I don’t play, like this year on the Lakers I could have averaged 15 or 20 on the Lakers if I played, easily.

Gonna root hard for Wolves, Blazers, and Jazz in the upcoming season. Impossible, but I'm hoping one of them has a Cinderella season and somehow comes out of the West. Who are your non-Cs team this season?

Wolves def. (KG)
Bulls def (Rondo).

My two locks. I try for LAC (PP), but it's hard for me. Always root for my 2 favs tho. Just have to.

Kinda low key mess with the Jazz, Pistons, & Bucks. Idky, think they can all make a jump this year.

Honestly, I mess with most teams. Only teams I really don't enjoy is Cleveland, Miami, Brooklyn, Golden State, Lakers.

Gonna be a real fun competitive season.

Just the Mavs like every year. Though I will probably root for the Cavs in the finals assuming they and the Warriors make it there.

I must say though, removing the Celtics from the conversation, this is the least excited I've been for an NBA season in years. It's going to suck unless some stars on GS and/or Cleveland get injured. And that would suck too because non-Kobe injuries blow.

Minny(for KG's final year) and Philly(so Nets are the Worst team). Oh and whoever faces Warriors in the finals out the East.

I kind of feel the same way. For the most part, I'm going to ignore the NBA except for the Celtics. They aren't going to win a championship but hopefully they will take the next step forward. That's what I'm going to focus on.

I think warriors will lose to the spurs with depth game.

Return to Boston Celtics
