Why is it that I'm not concerned about Embiid, Maxey and George?

I know this is a rhetorical question but let me count thy ways.

1) Embiid can’t stay healthy.

2) Embiid can’t stay in shape. Good luck dragging him along through a whole regular season and playoffs after he gets no time off because he wants to piggy back off of Team USA’s success. It’s the only way he could win anything.

3) Embiid is a childish front runner and is anything but a leader.

4) Paul George is 34 and will probably get a 4 year deal.

5) Paul George is on the decline and just had a woefully unimpactful series versus Dallas.

6) George also is not the epitome of playing a lot of games, last season not withstanding.

7) I like Maxey. Nothing bad to say about him but I think he’s tapped just about all of his potential, which is a very good all star caliber player.

8) I do not like Philadelphia.

PG going to orlando instead of the sixers and the sixers signing derozen and klay would be hysterical

Makes sense, who is trading for that guy at a 30 mil a year contract.

The only people that would are contenders that have dead weight at that contract they want to like swap and get cap relief for and CP3 as a backup for.

That's an unlikely contract to find this season, 2 seasons from now when everyone's resigned maybe not.

Yeah I think it's PG and Embiid both being injury prone that makes a big 3 of Maxey/PG/Embiid less scary.

Now if they find a way to add KCP like one of those reports said or another significant player like another report has suggested next to the big 3 (one suggested Derozan) then I'd be very concerned.

We still don't have a big that can actually physically hold his ground consistently with Embiid. We are missing our Aaron Baynes off the bench.

Agent "Chris you've played with Steph, KD and James. Brad's gonna offer you the vet minimum and you'll be on a duckboat next June. I'd take that call"

Maybe Chris Paul for the vet min if he wants to play again and potentially win? Him playing 15-20 mins a game for this team would be sick.
Good assessment:

I could see CP3 going to Philly. I could see him going to SAS or the Lakers. I can't see him coming here, if only because he won't get minutes.

I'm interested in seeing how much they paid Luke.

Would kind of make Pritchard useless on this team. And with us being a second apron team that's like 40 million the owner is paying for someone who doesn't play and an upset player on your roster.

Although I agree I wouldn't mind having CP3 in that role instead for 15-20 minutes, his playmaking would be a welcomed addition. And I assume he's still one of the best end of game shot makers in the game.

They're really valuing continuity. Should've just believed Brad.

At least he knows how to jump when other people are shooting 3s on the other team.

But yeah with ALL those other teams needing Centers our dream of upgrading the Center spot might be null and void.

This might be a lot like 2 years ago when Rob Williams was out most of the year and we played Luke as our starting Center for half the season.
