I think it's this Dennis smith Jr guy. He's sneaking up all.over the place sort of like how Brown did last year

Hoping we can swap 3 for 5/10 and get our guy at 5...best case scenario at this point

I wasn't lying.

Cool. I am saying that I fully support this trade.

A highly likely future top 5 pick in return for taking a guy we wanted anyways?

Even if it means Thomas is getting maxed out in a year?

No, it's not possible. We traded away all of our luck with the #1 pick this year. You don't get #1 every year.......... fml

Sixers got it and all they had to do was give up pick 3 and pick 4 or 5 next year.

Every asset in the world danny had last year the Sixers wouldn't of taken to give up pick number 1.

Your missing the back end guarantee. So if the '18 pick is not 2-5 they get the Kings '19. As a trade asset it is just so awesome you either get a top 5 pick in '18 or a '19 pick from the most F'd franchise in the league. This is an almost impossible to acquire trade asset especially since Ainge can mix in some juice with the BRK pick.

OK, so it's either a really strong Laker pick or an unprotected King's pick in 2019.

Obviously Danny was never going to draft Fultz either way. I would guess the medical went bad

And Philly doesn't care about the medical??

Some teams doctors don't see some injuries as a big deal and others do.

Either way Danny obviously doesn't think Fultz is so far superior than other players in the draft

If this deal will be signed before the draft and therefore isn't contingent on Jackson being available, it really isnt about him. We may take Fox, Tatum, Ball, Monk -- hell you really don't know. It's no longer safe to assume Jackson is the target.

Exactly. There are probably two targets the Celtics have after Jackson and Fultz.

This is the problem right here because Jackson looks like a role player and Ball looks like a pass first PG. the only player IMO that has star potential is Fultz.

Thinking there is not much separation in the top 4 is really bad scouting

While I think this trade blows, i will trust pro scouters over internet fans for sure.

Well there's nothing we can do about it at this point so I'm not going to let it bother me.

However, now that we've chosen this path, I hope Danny Ainge is capable of putting together a roster that can contend for a championship.

because I'm still down to roll with our crew plus Griffin or Hayward if you guys are.

Essentially, We have to waive all of our FA's , stash Yabu and dump Demetrius Jackson with cash.

I am down with that.

What makes you guys think Ainge won't pull this junk next year?

This whole year has been a big waste.

Yeah, no way he's going to be worth that at this point in his career. Not even sure how he's going to look coming off of his injury and potential surgery...Fultz made a ridiculous amount of sense but apparently Danny was blind to it

That's one way to look at it. I mean to bet that the kings will be top 5 is alot to assume when they haven't been top 5 in quite some time.

There's also the logic that the Celtics should.have both those picks with no protections.
