I keep reading its the thunder vs warriors. You'd think if the C's were eliminated we would know.

From what I understand, it's Thunder versus Warriors for Durant.

Ha. I was expecting that. Seems reasonable as most people want to "sleep on it" pending a big decision. Just hope that the GSW don't take KD prisoner ala DeAndre Jordan  (I know, completely different scenarios, but ...)

As a side note, while my team has no dog in the fight, between here and the general board, I have no reason why I personally have so much anxiety with KD's decision

Haven't seen this much traffic on this site in a long time.

The Thunders beat writer says it's Thunder vs. Warriors and I'm inclined to believe him. He's been referenced by a lot of the top media guys in this whole process.

I said I was gonna recap and I didn't do that so here we go with what we know for sure:

1. LA Clippers are out. They no longer have realistic means of creating space without dealing away Paul, Griffin or Jordan. Those guys are the draw of LA, so they are done.

2. Miami seems out as well. The word I heard is Durant doesn't love the way they've kind of jerked Wade around. He's also not sold they can build a contender in short order.

3. San Antonio has been really, really quiet, but everyone is saying he doesn't love the roster fit. And he's afraid it will be just him an Kawhi since the others are a touch older.

4. Golden State has the chance to build an amazingly top heavy roster with 4 true stars. That would draw anyone.

5. Boston - covered big time, but just in case: Loves the young, hungry roster. Loves the assets to keep improving. Loved that they signed Horford without knowing/caring if he was coming or not.

6. OKC is home. Russ is there. In a lot of ways staying there would be easiest. This is just speculation, but the longer it goes, the worse it looks that he is returning to OKC.

7. Don't think it is a lock he is signing a 1+1. Word is this has been stressful and he hasn't loved the process. He has more than enough money, so locking up a situation long term may be the most desirable situation.

I might have missed something. It has been a long ass day.

Good to have people around who were here in the early days.

Heh, appreciate the thought, but I was never a regular poster on whatever the old account was. I would just keep using this one anyway. :)

Someone sneak in and kidnap him ala Celtic Pride!

Hi honestly though, I'm okay with it. Ya know tonight I'm off tomorrow I work in the morning and am doing tons of festivities in the afternoon and night so heck it makes perfect sense to crush my dreams and Maybe just maybe ruin the NBA. So I will give my thoughts beforehand.

OKC - You're such a dink... good luck.

GS - You suck and ruined the NBA for so many.

Boston - Yippe Kay Aye mother ****.

So until tommorow boys. Have a great holiday. Ya know how they say it's been a pleasure?... well um, later.
